I'm putting this up here basically (and perhaps futilely) to deter people posting it and claiming to be me, for reasons I to this day cannot understand. Why *this*, of all things?

Anyway. I did this in 2005. It was the second flash movie I'd ever done. It shows. I cleaned up a few errors in it that had always bothered me before uploading it here, but most of the choppy animation and shoddy art is beyond salvagable and I'd really be better off redoing this from scratch now that I (kind of) know what I'm doing.

I did, however, change two particular scenes in this while cleaning it up. You'll probably be able to tell which ones. The lipsync in one was perfect in Flash but kept getting knocked off time when published arrrrrgh

I would have made it a preloader but really, I just want this to be over with.

This flash was first introduction to you and it gave me a great introduction to you as a person and content creator. I don't recall if I read this somewhere or what, but I'll put it here because I think it's important.

You wrote fanfics for stories and licenses that either ended or died, bringing them new life and, in essence, re-animated them. As the character Zarla writes more, the group in the graveyard grows as she toils in her lab (her writing desk) and feels most alive doing what she enjoys.

For how early it was in your life as an animator and how old it is now, I'm willing to be lenient on the animation but I really don't feel I need to be. Sure the shapes look awkward at points, moreso when the characters are bopping along with the music, but I feel the unpolished amateur look helps. For one, a fanfic writer is an amateur just sharing their passion with something they were inspired to do.

This was an early step as you've said, and you've gotten much better since then, but it's important to remember your history, and it's important to remember what inspired you. It's also important to know when you inspired others, and this inspired me way back when it first released.

Thank you for sticking with it for so long and having so much fun while at it.

This is one of the first really amazing flash videos I've ever seen that went viral on the internet.

I've read some of your comments on your own work on other sites. You seem pretty cynical about the fact that people really love your work. You believe your art is horrible (and maybe you're kind of right) and can't understand why anyone would like it.

One thing I've learned about art, is that skill and style are two different things. Regardless of your skill level, I think what really captured our hearts and imaginations is your style. There's just something irresistible about the style you show in the flash videos you did, like this and Slomicidal. While not drawn terribly well, your Zarla character embodies total freedom in Slomicidal and is very charismatic in Move Your Dead Bones.

So be a bit less harsh on yourself, will ya? :P
