Final Fantasy The world's favorite RPG now has your favorite Flash spoofs!
Author Comments
I undertook this little project last week, mainly because I had so much fun with Final Fantasy characters in my last piece.
I wanted to do something more classical this time around, so I took the Red Mage character from FF1 and grabbed some audio from "Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail."
The Black Knight scene is pretty infamous, so if I was only going to do one scene, it was going to be from this one. Because I'm not yet TOO experienced doing full-on Flash Projects, I kept this down to about 30 seconds, but I think that's more than enough to get the point across!
I hope you guys get a good laugh!
Update: Thanks for the Daily 3rd place and for all the really kind reviews!

HAH. Monty Python. Nice
You should have kept it going for when he cut off both his legs, and the knight said he would bite off his ankles

Final Fantasy AND Monty Python!?
PURE GENIUS!! Red Mage always rocks, and I love his facial expressions (those are pretty hard to animate in flash if you don't know what you're doing, from what I have been told), as well as the... er... helmetpressions of the Black Knight. I loved this so much, thank you for making this!
I know it's a little late, but... maybe, sequel..? Please? That would be awesome!

wow...just...wow....
this is about the 15th time ive watched this! (in the past DAY!!!) and every time i watch it, i laugh and think, "wow, whoever made this must have been thinking something totally awesome! :D" great animation, some parts were a bit scratchy with the red mages face, but other than that, great video! :D :D :D 10/10 5/5

Once again, another fantastic animation!
It's good to be able to write another review for you Mr. Simmons. I found this animation to be another one of your triumphs. The animation was smooth and corresponded quite well to the audio excerpt. I enjoyed the original "Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail", and I found this to be very enjoyable to watch.
The way you incorporated the "Final Fantasy" combat made the animation even more your own! Other viewers who have no experience with the works of Monty Python or the Final Fantasy series may have found this particular animation difficult to follow. To remedy this situation (had I any talent) I would've extended the scene to the beginning with the encounter with the Black Night and start of the battle. However this may be tedious and to me, I find it unnecessary, you were able to get the comedic pinnacle of the scene across to the majority of viewers and seeing as this was your goal, once again I find great entertainment in your work.
I would not say that this is your best work, but it comes a lot farther than many other animations on this site. Keep up the good work, I'd like to see more of your style of animation along with more audio clips. You have great talent and this seems to be a strength of yours. I look forward to seeing more of your work and writing more reviews with just as much praise!
