Edit: Thanks for all of your kind words and feedback! I'm new to Newgrounds, and so far I am loving all of you. (Btw, I am a girl--just fyi. :) Guilty of liking trance/techno.....)

Done for Sonic::Epilogue, back in the day. <3 Special thanks to Vanatom from deviantArt, who was so kind as to let me use his song, Break You Open (air edit)! This was actually timed to fit "Numb" by Linkin Park, and that version can be seen here: m/misc/se2.html . Anyway, hope you all enjoy. :)

The song's depressing but catchy. Great job. I never knew Tails had the balls to do that,\.

WoW !

I have to say that was some very good animation, and without a single word depicts an awesome story. This is a very good movie, the music works perfect with it. Kind of sad but in a god way, i enjoyed it.

Tails is actually cool in this video, brings out more of a mature side to him.

anyway 10/10 Awesome ! !

very emotional. not many people can kill off sonic and make it as good as this. the way this was presented made all the difference. nice job.

Snively cannot be allowed to get away with this! A sequel is almost REQUIRED! The sorrow of what Tails had to do is beautifully captured, mostly by the music, editing, and flashbacks. I'm curious to know how you'd capture Tails' rage as he takes Snively down once and for all.

On a side note, the comic mentions how Tails has never lived in a world without war. How will he adjust when there are no more threats? Can he allow himself to get close to anyone after all the conflict... after what he saw his adopted big brother go through?

I have now admitted you into my "fan ending favorites" list. You've done some of my absolute favorite things to make the list:

You took the original franchise that ended without a conclusion, and ended it. Simple enough.

The BIG one that got you in, that is generally hard to do without crossing into filth, is that you gave it appeal to its original fanbase (who would now be around 20 years of age).

It actually is written in the style of the old episodes, just darker. There is actually a plan for a third season of the SatAM cartoon, it just hasn't been made yet. But you took in the two main story elements of season 3: 1) Snively's rise to power. 2) Tails growing up and becoming more independent. I think if the scenario played out in real life, Tails would have to come to terms with Sonic's death. And this just makes it that much harder for the little guy.

The stab sequence just floored me. The flashback, the emotions, the expressions... the eyes. Seeing Sonic's life fade like that as his eyes close made me suffer right alongside Tails.

The music matched perfectly, as a final conclusion to an epic tale. The whole thing, music and editing mainly, made me think Tails was remembering the events at home and they run through his head as he walks to Sonic's grave. Honestly, "Numb" just sounded too angry for this installment. This sequence definitely required more sadness and regret.

The track in this version ended with a poetically beautiful uncertainty for the future. Can Tails deal with the pain and remorse? Will he turn to an "easy way out?" Will he seek revenge? What will happen to the Freedom Fighters?

I think I speak for the vast majority of the viewers when I say:

"Please don't leave us hanging!"

This is one of the nicest and most thoughtful comments I've ever gotten, I think. Thank you for that! It's always a pleasure to find other old fans of SatAM. I probably won't do another movie in this series, but I will probably post a summary somewhere. :) I'm so glad that you liked it! I think it was worth it to finish this, just for this comment. So, thanks again. <3
