Move your trooper with WASD. He can walk left and right, duck, jump and double jump.
Pressing keys 1-4 will change your weapon-
1) Gun (single)
2)Gun (burst)
3)Gun (shotgun)
4)Grenade
Aim and fire with the mouse. SPACE will allow you to enter your ship and use the more powerful cannon.
Use the energy from the insects to upgrade your weapons.
Press P for Pause and options.

Good
I agree with Corruptsoul on upgrade situation. Even though you said in your authour comments that the vulcan turrent was powerful, I ended up hardly even using it. I think you need to fix the regeneration rate on the vulcan or the damage it dose when you upgrade it. For crying out loud, the aout-turret was more usefull than the vulcan cannon!!! While you'r fixing I also think the damage on the gun should also be increased alittle more. Other than that, I enjoyed the game alot and the graphics were excellent. P.S. I hope I didn't sound mean or offend you :D

awesome
sound effects were sweet ! try making a version which is faster and the guns are more effective .. it got slightly annoying (even with the upgrades) when you are shooting at a low level bug for a hour lol

Amazing
Definitely one of the best flash games I have EVER played. The style was minimalistic, yet left nothing to be desired. The difficulty was perfect (for me at least =P). I never used any other mode except shotgun, and relied mostly on my grenade launcher. The support vulcan helped a bit, and the main vulcan got me out of a tight squeeze a few times. I would love to see more of these games. Keep up the good work man, you have an amazing skill.

Great
That game was awesome! If you make a second you should put a buy mode and you can buy weapons new cannons and troops to protect the ship. Take these ideas into consideration. Other then that is was great.
