Hello Poogrounds... see what I did there. :3

This is a piece I made for The Animation Club in Melbourne who have a screening night called Secret Handshake on the last Tuesday of each month.
Well, I should say, had a screening night, because November's was the last one... :(

The theme for this month was practical jokes, and I came up with this... I thought it was time for The Boogley to finally make another appearance.

I really just wanted to focus on characterization and acting in frame by frame animation, which is why I've kept everything very minimal, with no background elements. I'm not so much happy with this movie as far as it being entertaining, it's story, or the sound, but I'm happy with the way the characters move. I think I'll make more stuff along these lines, but with more attention to story, sound and other areas neglected this time around. The sound is very subtle and soft... you might need to turn it up a bit.

Okay you bastards, watch, listen, and leave me a review. I love recieving any suggestions, insults or suggestions as to what I should eat for dinner tonight.

Hey man

You know that one technique where it looks like the lines are wobbly, you did that with 3 frames didn't you? How exactly do you do it, do you just redraw everything a frame or two extra instead of making one frame? Tablet drawn? Pretty cool, I like that style, but I don't like doing it for some reason.

TheBoogley responds:

It's four tracings for each still wobbly bit, which are in movieclips... Some people like to do six tracings, but they're much less lazy than me. :)

well

Well reviewer below me, I must be a terrible person because I thought it was rather trippy. But in a great way. I loved the animation style, I also loved the color scheme...especially since 3/5s of it was nearly the same shade of blue as my hair. Good job!

TheBoogley responds:

oh dear... trippy... WAIT! great trippy! And you've got blue hair! I sees your profile pic and it be true! CHARLIE!! THE AMULET CHARLIE!! :D

This is very good

I consider this flash to be a work of art. The animation is very good and fluid. The way the characters move looks realistic (well as realistic as a pig and bear could get). Good job on this.

TheBoogley responds:

Thanks, I actually worked by tracing footage of a pig and a bear at my local bus stop.

TheBoogley responds:

Great job.

That was magnificent, best Frame-By-Frame animation I've seen in a long time. :D

Thanks! :D
