Unfortunately, this game will NOT work on PowerPC Macs.

W, A, S, D - movement
Click screen + drag or LEFT/RIGHT ARROWS - turn
SPACE - fire
R - use door/switch
SHIFT - run
ESCAPE - menu
TAB - map
NUMBER KEYS - change weapon
[ and ] - cycle through inventory (Heretic/Hexen only)
ENTER - use inventory item (Heretic/Hexen only)
Q - Jump (Heretic/Hexen only)
You can also customize the keys in the Controls menu!

Note that the medals will NOT unlock if you use cheat codes.

05/09/09 - All the medals and savegames should be working!
05/07/09 - Massive update, bug fixes, Heretic + Hexen!
11/23/08 - Controls changed to avoid sticky keys.
11/22/08 - Much better sound playback, and minor speed improvements!

Ya know, there's nothing, really NOTHING that feels better to a boy (at least, nothing concerned on this type of website) than the feeling of an old friend like this running through your veins.

Shame that I never played this game. I would be very very grateful if you could do the same to stargunner.

Man, I am in love with crappy old games!!!!

I had no idea that this was possible in flash. Hexen and Doom are some of my favorite games of all time. I know pretty much every secret in Doom :P

Bummer about the music though... I would have thought that you could just code it to play the midi files at certain points..

Great job though, and if at all possible, try to add some of your own stuff in there, such as a savegame system, fixing the music, etc.
Also I don't see why you didn't include the full version of the game... It's not illegal to download anymore I don't think since they released the source code.
