just the same -.-
This is just the same as the orginal DOOM. I was hoping for some cool flashskills actually.

Nice conversion
However it works very similiar to the cellphone wersion. Same sound problems, some lags also. In school/work it's great idea to play Doom online, but instead I prefer playing original one on PC (I own one).
It puzzles me, how did you worked out to combine .WAD files with flash :P

Kudos for you for great work.

Awesome, there's no problems here...cept no music
I can save/load, play the game, ect...all with perfect ease, tho it's a little glitchy, but
hell you can't go put a whole game right into a flash without ANY problems.5/5
I'ma send this to everybody I know who doesn't have doom.As for music...
couldn't you just use the original MP2 (not a typo) files of the doom levels music?
Might hafta convert to mp3...but hey. This is now one of the best things on NG.
it's just not the same without the music, right? The released source code doesn't include the music code. :( i'd have to write up a MIDI player, which is a project in itself!
I was thinking of importing some of the music as MP3 -- but even a few of the songs would be bigger than the game itself, haha!

OMG YES
Finally a no-download no strings attatched Doom fully intact and just as fucking awesome as when it came out! OH man I remember me and my friends would sit up and play doom late at night and shit ourselves cause we had the sound turned way up. Your my hero

It would have helped if you'd done much.
And the end product seems to be somewhat glitchy (I can't get any sound, others have different problems). It also shows just how badly the game has aged, so I can't really view this as anything more than a technical feat, and it's not a feat you can claim much credit for.
