Pump more water! Get clean drinking water for the village using the Play Pumps roundabout. As the kids spin the wheel they raise water from the ground - awesome! As they get bored they pump less water - boo! Keep happy kids on the Play Pump as much as possible and pump more water!

Instructions:
Use your mouse to add kids to each Play Pump - click the middle of the Play Pump until it has five kids on it. When the children get bored (look at the guage above their heads) click on them to make space for newcomers.

Note: We've made this to support the Global Entrepreneurship Week which is a pretty cool charity helping smart young things make something of their ideas. And these Play Pumps are real - a million people in Africa now get their drinking water from them.

"Neat concept, neat game"

date: November 20, 2008

This project is so cool! They had one water pump in Chicago while the globe statues were on exhibit, and it was fun and interesting at the same time! It's an amazing idea on how to bring water to countries in need. Use kid power!
Now to the game. It was fun, but as is progressed, the zooming out and more kids at the same time was confusing. You couldn't tell who was going compared to who was coming and where. The graphics also got suckier and suckier with the zoom function. I did like the use of "!" to tell when the kids were getting tired, and how the stamina bar wasn't necessary to look at. The game got dull after a little while, but it wasn't that long in total, and the checkpoint kid at the top filled you in on your levels and time. Well put together, and way to advertise a great concept!

"interesting"

date: November 20, 2008

concept is good, gameplay a bit repetitive, but the challenge is there when u get upwards of 5 pumps.. resolution graphics become sketchy when zoom moves out with greater number of pumps.. got bored after 10 minutes tho because of the repetition
