TBC: Episode 3

Author Comments

It's finally here! TBC Episode 3! And it feels a lot shorter than it did when I was making it. Damn.

For the many of you who've never heard of this before and haven't seen the first two or something like that, check out the little menu with my other submissions somewhere to the left of this block of text.

Oh, and guess what? IT'S 20FPS, YEAAAAH! I did promise you, didn't I? The other two episodes look pretty blockish compared to this. I see what you mean now, guy who reviewed one of the other episodes who I'm too lazy to check which episode or person it was...

Also, it actually has some credits now. That's nice.

Well, there isn't much to say that I haven't already said in the author's comments section of the other two episodes.

Trivia: This flash has 3200 frames in it and runs at 20fps for a total length of 159.9 seconds. Including the credits.

Completely useless trivia: It took me a lot longer than that to make it. But you knew that already.

Well, enjoy!

sweeeeet...

Kewl animation. Kewl sound. Funny stuff. good amount of lulz. 10/10. Can u tell me when the next 1 is done (if you are doing one)?

JustSomeKiwi responds:

Kewl.

I'll send you a PM when I finish TBC 4 if I remember.

Yay!

Glad to see a new bubble man up, and look, you were right in my comment reply! Wow, that animation was like, "holy crap it's like it's actually moving!" MMMMM, that's bloaated! (in a good way) 10 stars for ten very special brain cells. :D

JustSomeKiwi responds:

Ten brain cells probably isn't even enough to make ten frames of TBC, in realistic terms. :P

Nice to know that you liked it!

HURRAH!

Moar, man!
I actually lol'd, in the literal sense of the word...s. Which is an impressive feat.
Let's get cracking! moar moar moar! =D
~Glabbit

JustSomeKiwi responds:

Oh, yay. Finally Glabbit himself shows his face in my reviews section. Glad to know I achieved an Impressive Feat (Lvl. 3). Let's see if I can get Over Nine Thousand (Lvl. 9001). Oh wait, I already did that in this episode.

good

i only gave it an eight cause i couldnot read that fast i men holy shit LEAD ELAPHANT LOL

JustSomeKiwi responds:

Believe it or not, I had to extend the delays for dialogue a few times because I couldn't read them myself in that time. I guess I just have a fear of large open spaces... between dialogue keyframes in the timeline.

Also, I betcha didn't know ACME made those things, eh?

Some music would've been excellent.

The sound effects were cool, but there was no music. You know, the fact of having no music at all makes you lose some points. The dialogues were fast, I had no problems reading it, but some people may have. Also the island was very weird, it seemed like a giant floating pool or something... If you add music and make the dialogues last a little bit longer, it would be better. Keep going.

JustSomeKiwi responds:

Fast dialogues are a result of 20fps meaning that a short timeframe takes up quite a lot of space on the timeline. They're also a result of me just not putting enough huge gaps for dialogue in said timeline. It's something that I'll definitely be working on.

I may add music in one of my future flashes, depending on if I think it suits the style. I'm quite proud of having all my flashes under 100KBs so far. We'll see how it goes.
