Hey Newgrounders, after months of... work? Yeah, work... I've got my first actual game! It revolves around a completely random Pokémon by the name of Wooper and his quest to save his sister, Woopette, from teh evil MUDKIPZ! (Save the girl? How original!) You go through 20 levels of puzzle/platforming in a Mario-like setting... in fact, it IS a Mario setting! Don't ask why. Mario has cameos everywhere. He's just cool like that. Anyway, I'll leave you with that; if there are any glitches, tell me, be sure to leave a review, ciao.

EDIT: 3.58? You guys were too kind! <33

Quick Draw game was better

Well, that's my opinion. The main game was just not my thing, but the quick draw was fun. Seeing Scyther go up against multiple different types.

this is an awesome game!

1 thing though, why do you have to drink 100 cups of coffee to beat mewtwo in quick draw? i beat them all in one go!

OrangePylon responds:

Several other reviewers think otherwise. :P

great game and the bonus!

OrangePylon responds:

Uhhh, I agree?

Thanks for the long and constructive review. <3

EDIT: O hai, I just noticed that this review was the first thing you contributed to NG. I feel more speshal now. :3

I like this more than I should.

It can definitely be improved, but for what it is, it's enjoyable. Mostly, it's the bumpy way you walk across the blocks. Wooper stands on the corners like they're rounded. Which they are.

I'm spending too much time screwing around in it, though. The "no walls" thing is pretty exploitable.

OrangePylon responds:

Yeah, I like no walls.

For example: in level 2, after getting the key you don't need to go around Diglette again, just drop down from the ceiling. :P

Thanks for the review. :)

Just what we need, another boring platformer with sprites. What you could have done was actually draw something so I could know that you put some effort into the art, especially since pixels look terrible. Also it was way too easy, all you have to do is jump over enemies. The story was also pretty bad so you might want to think about that next time you make a game. So for your next game work on graphics, game play, and story, and you could have a decent one.

OrangePylon responds:

Well first off, I'd like to THANK YOU for at least attempting to make a constructive review, they're scarce on NG these days and actual reviews mean a lot to me. However, all I'm hearing from you is bitching about sprites. Look, I can't draw worth shit. I'll admit it. So wouldn't you rather see these well-done Pokémon customs as opposed to my shitty artwork?

The game wasn't intended to be hard. All you have to do is jump over enemies? Well sure, SHIFT anyone? There are a lot of games in which you are faced with enemies and no attack. It's a type of platformer and if you don't care for it that's not a valid complaint. That's like saying Final Fantasy sucks because you don't like RPGs.

Story. That's a laugh. Could you not tell that it was meant to be sarcastic? There was no story. There were just cutscenes added in to give you an explanation as to why things are there. Does Bowser ever have a reason for kidnapping the princess?

So yeah, I know you have a right to your opinion and you do make at least some valid points, but for the most part I'm just hearing "sprites are unoriginal".

EDIT: Oh, sure, sprite movies take no effort to make. I should join the faggot federation and start making REAL quality work.
