This one is about a man and his dog.
WARNING: May be slow on some older computers due to lots of textures and camera movement. It looked a bit choppy on my laptop. Select a lower quality if that's the case. I've put it up on youtube for anyone that finds it unwatchably laggy.
A little wonder.
A truly great thing, that places itself among the best flash animations I've ever seen. I bet that Richard D. James enjoys it totally much:) May seem a little creepy and disturbing for some audiences but for me it is just right the way it is. A little wonder.
i'll rate 10 for creativity
but i didn't understand the whole point of it? wtf did it mean?
Terrible idea, but alright.
The animation was quite good so I thought you deserved at least some stars, but this plot is terrible, violent, cruel, and scary. Not to sound too mean, but I'll assume you should go get some profesional help because this creation is unstable. But actually, I have to admit, the animation was alright, the graphics weren't bad, and the sound was good too. So that brings my rating up to a 8, try to make a little less disturbing one next time.
This really just struck me an attempt being 'odd for the sake of odd', and it didn't even really leave me with a genuinely feeling of being disturbed/'weirded-out'. Maybe I've just been spoilt by your previous works, specifically the obvious choice of Salad Fingers, which posses a fairly similar tone to this, but it is executed much better. I've got no qualms with things being left unsaid, in fact I actively encourage it most of the time, but this just seems somewhat uninspired and... I'm resisting the urge to say 'pointless', because Salad Fingers wasn't really making a bold political statement about the current state of society but, you get the picture. It reminded me, in a way, of the most recent series of the Mighty Boosh, in the vein of being utterly arbitrary for the sake of it, and somehow that's seemingly funny.
However, I seem to be in the minority here, most other people who have rated this animation lowly seem to be blithering idiots, and I have to say it looks more 'aesthetically pleasing', excuse the assery of that phrase, than previous titles. But shiny textures don't detract from the fact that this wasn't enjoyable. I'm sorry David.
But in a very beautiful way. The gorey parts didn't bother me much, since you have such a unique art style that can support it. I like how it made me think, and I felt a range of different emotions. I felt a bit sad, scared, shocked, and finally happy at the end when the man said thank you. Wonderful flash, I really enjoyed it.
