Synopsis

It's the year 2057. Boarder lines have disappeared between countries through trade wars. It is not a war between countries, but a war between major enterprises. An enterprise had the power to alter the decisions of a country. Such strange phenomenon has made the trade wars bitter. The fittest enterprises got together to come up with a new system that would cut off the rising forces of other enterprise.
They come up with a new alternative: An alternative trade system that will become a barrier to all future entries: A method to cut down the logistics costs to unimaginable amount; a transportation system that will cut across the Pacific Ocean; and an establishment of a gigantic city with mass production in mind. But, the historical project holds a major flaw.
For the project to succeed, it had to overcome the natural disasters of the Pacific Ocean. Although major scientists and architects opposed, enterprises pushed the project forward. The project, days away from completion, is met with great catastrophe. The natural disasters of the Pacific Ocean results in lost lives. The lives of scientists and workers are lost. More devastating was the fact that although lives were detected, no measure could be used to reach them and save them.
Major material and man power loss resulted as such and some giant companies file bankruptcy. Through this disaster, the prices of necessities and industrial products start to soar. The world is swirled in an era of inflation.
Meanwhile, Korea and Japan joint ventured in developing 'cell robots' that can make decisions by analyzing the variables sensed in its environment. These scientists have acquired the permission from International Human Rights Association to use these robots. These robots become the first independent decision making clone beings.
Furthermore, the newly built city is programmed to be run by these robots. A community populated solely by robots is built: the Mono-Community. But, there are forces that are against the great project. They are on the move to destroy the city.
They call themselves the "Bleeding Fists." To fight against these forces, it was inevitable to produce powerful police robots: the Gunchest series. A total of 45 Gunchests were produced, but, only one remains.

The last Gunchest, Gunchest Vol. 45 fights against the evil forces.

Professional... That's about it :(

I watched all the episodes of Gunchest, and i always leave with the same impression of wasted talent. Seeing all the people giving it huge scores, i couldn'\t bring myself to write a proper review, so i just didn't vote.

But, there are things that just have to be said.

Here be the marks:
2/5
6/10
In short, nothing new or interesting.

You see, i just don't seem to care about the characters. I can understand their predicament, but it just does not seem real. The flash spends a lot of time on action scenes, but they do not leave any sort of emotional impact. The flash has style, but it's incredibly generic and rips off everything under the Sun.

A work like that would make a good portfolio for someone applying to an 3-d animator position. However, as a standalone complete work, it just doesn't hold it's own.

Sorry.

Great as usual

Thank you again for another great entry in this series. I especially like the fact that you told the whole story in your submission. I had really no idea what this whole thing was about, but I loved it! I can't even remember the names of the bee robot or the red or purple robots, but I'm still a huge fan! Can you not merge these episodes into one or something? Why are they always in twos?

Intellectual and emotional shallowness

I've followed by the GunChest series since the first episode, and beacuse of sympathy to all the amazing 3D work you did here, I holded my opinion, guessing, that your plot and character development are still warming up. But here came the episode 5, and you still hasn't made any progress in that matter(I 'aint saying about any audio/visual aspects, beacuse in your league you're the absolute champ). It's stupid teenager Power Rangers and dragon hairy Balls influenced movie. It's so naiive and childich, it hurts soo much.

I also don't know, why everyone is so under-valuing their vote and throwing 10's and 5's all the time. Is that series so deep, emotional touching or giving to think, that you giving away the best score whole the time?

I bet you wanted this to be something really cool, addicting and all, but (maybie to archive the wider target audience, dunno) unfortunately, you put it through the meat machine, and made an "Instant meal". It's tempting, I know, "just wait untill it loads, and you have cool, disobliging childish fun 4 all, just click the damn link already".

Okay, to the audio/video stuff.
I'ts obvious, as I wrote earlier, that you are totally professional at that narrow 3D animations niche, and as along some flash artists use 3D spontaneously, you're propably my favourite among them. One flaw I see in your visuals are that you use too much jpg (I know, you cut the filesize, whenever you can), but you could give them a bit lesser compression, then your movie won't be a mix of hi-res vector/prim animation with crappy pixelated jpeg backgrounds.

The biggest thing I appreciate in your movie is that you went through such great effort to make double dubbing, i'm literally moved, how greatly are you devoted to this series.

But i'm sure you already know this from the previous comments.

Overally it isn't bad afterall, but all that plastic and unrealistic dialogs, stupid arguments between Black and Bee (fuuuck, Bee's propably the most irritating character, ever), this looong, and boring long fights, where you know nobody important will die, or anything, it all makes me feel real anxious in waiting, that you'll FINALLY put something, aside from humansXrobots, that will be true satifsying entertainment, leaving you hungry for more. Sorry for the long sentence.

Keep up the good work and plz, I know they're robots, but try make the characters less artificial and plastic.

6/10 3/5

To the devoted fans of GunChest series: Don't press the 'red minus' button, just beacuse i gave this flash something other than 10/10 and 5/5.
