Author Comments

40 unique tests will challenge your reactions, creativity and short term memory. Only the strongest will beat them. The title and many other aspects of this game are misleading. A lot of hard work and careful planning went into this. If you like it, play the first Timewaster also.

When you reach a checkpoint, make sure you write down the password. You may come back and play from there later.

Please don't spoil it for everybody by giving away passwords or ways to beat certain levels in your comments. There is a walkthrough for the impatient ones. But try figuring it out on your own, it's more fun.

Please enjoy!

42 Minutes!

My time was wasted, but I had a great time doing it. Fun minigames with occasional difficult solutions. A!

It really does serve its purpose..

..and does it quite well in the process.

You don't really notice the minutes (hours..?) flying by as you try to complete the levels, which may be a good thing or a bad thing. Definitely a good thing if you came here to kill time, but a bad thing once you see just how much time you've killed!

The animation was great, the responsiveness of the buttons worked quite well, and the checkpoints were placed almost perfectly, although I do have some minor complaints.

- The 'music' level bar not only controlled the music but all the audio from the flash, and was a disappointment that you couldn't control the music/button press sfx separately on the levels where the you needed not only, *ahem*, "FAST" reaction times, but to be able to hear the button being pressed so you didn't press it twice. Concentration is key!

- Also audio related, the delay between pressing the button and the button sfx was slightly too long. You may have done this on purpose, making specific levels harder than they needed to be, but heightened difficulty is not always what you aim for.

- Wait.. another complaint about the audio? The song/guy's voice wore out it's welcome after about it's third repeat and became quite annoying. I'm aware you can turn it off, but then you wouldn't hear the button sound, as mentioned above!

*Note on perfect background music: See Z-Rox. It might not be right for this type of game, but it should give every flash game author an idea.*

As you can see, audio was the basis of nearly all of my complaints, but I don't think it was too, too bad. The visuals were excellent, the user interface was simple and intuitive, and by god, the game was fun. Definitely worthy of a solid 8. Nice job.

disapointed. . . in myself

a complete waste of time. . . after just attending a seminar about time management, I find myself strangely drawn to this.
