...the former game was way better. I came across this game when i was looking at max games looking for updates in max mesiria and i decided to play it because i liked the first version and i have to tell you that:
1) At max games you must fix a problem in the second level, the city, theres a glitch that will lock you in a place between maps (above the first road, the one where you must unlock a gateway)
2) The saving option doesnt works here nor when you download the game from your site, i close the game and restart it and there's no saved file.
3) It's pointless to buy stronger spells because most of the time they make exactly the same damage or even less than the first 3 spells you begin with, you can kill the enemies with just more mana, the doublecast spell and your first 3 spells.
4) Buying stats it's quite useless, the increase in damage isn't significant at all.
5) Melee atack it's underrated, it simply isnt strong enough to beat your enemies, you should make it competent enough.
6) Why so many different elemental spells if there's no specified category for your enemy and the damage is so random?, some enemies should be afected by lighing, others by ice and the rest of elements, moreover, the stronger spells should have more attributes. An example is the commet, it isn't only fire or earth, the pressure of the impact has influence in the damage plus the stronger spells should cast stronger ailments in the enemies. Again with the elements, the enemies must belong to different elemental fammilies affected by different elements, like fire, earth, dark, light, ice and be affected from the different spells differently like fire being weaker to ice and ice to lightening.
4 stars for good graphics and sound, the lack of playability devours the rest of the score :(
