Just a heads up....
-There is no storyline, no plot, no progression of events. It is just random stuff that goes along to the song.
-The mostly black and white style is there on purpose becuase in my opinion you can make it scarier
-The fast paced tweens transitioning into the slower ones are supposed to look real quick to give the flash a jumpy effect
-Some of the sloppily drawn stuff is there on purpose as well to create a creepier feel, not simply becuase I to lazy to redraw it.
So I was going for more of the scary aspect of this year's contest, which I think came out pretty well. I know that "This is Halloween" has been done many times before, but I tried to take a semi-different approach to this song.
Last year I was invited to do a collaboration to this song for the NG contest but it never ended up being finished. I started over from scratch keeping some basic concepts from my parts and ending up putting all this together in the past 2 weeks, although in those 2 weeks I put as much effort into this as if it would've taken me 2 months on my usual animating schedule.
This is the first real animation I have made in quite sometime (not including a poor 2-day attempt at Pico Day) so I hope that you enjoy this!

GREAT!!!!!!!
I have hearded this over million times in nightmare before christmas.AND IT ROCKS SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!Could you do next time "Oogie Boogie´s song"?I LOVE NBC!!!!!ITS JUST SO AWESOME!!!!!
hah i was actually considering doing "oogie boogie's song" this year instead of this one. I actually think next year I am going to stay away from the Nightmare Before Christmas and do something original. Thanks for the review.

thanks but i think my next couple of animations are not going to be simply a single song. I think ima actually gonna try and put some sort of a storyline to them hah.

well,...
im glad to finally see something for this song, but im not gonna lie, it didnt realy do the song its justice. good animation and good ideas, but some of the timing felt off and i think you used the scary clown idea a little much. other than that it was actually a really good animation. the only reason its not 10/10 is the justice. i also had a few ideas of what you could put instead of jack from NMBC. if your interested you can PM me. anyway, good anim.
Yeah I don't really know what you meant about the timing, and the clown thing i was trying to develop at least a small theme within the flash itself so it wouldnt seem so random all the way through....And you could go ahead and tell me those ideas but it wouldnt really help since ive already animated this song and am not planning on doing it again hah. But I guess for "justice's" sake you coudl say them at least.
