Just a heads up....
-There is no storyline, no plot, no progression of events. It is just random stuff that goes along to the song.
-The mostly black and white style is there on purpose becuase in my opinion you can make it scarier
-The fast paced tweens transitioning into the slower ones are supposed to look real quick to give the flash a jumpy effect
-Some of the sloppily drawn stuff is there on purpose as well to create a creepier feel, not simply becuase I to lazy to redraw it.
So I was going for more of the scary aspect of this year's contest, which I think came out pretty well. I know that "This is Halloween" has been done many times before, but I tried to take a semi-different approach to this song.
Last year I was invited to do a collaboration to this song for the NG contest but it never ended up being finished. I started over from scratch keeping some basic concepts from my parts and ending up putting all this together in the past 2 weeks, although in those 2 weeks I put as much effort into this as if it would've taken me 2 months on my usual animating schedule.
This is the first real animation I have made in quite sometime (not including a poor 2-day attempt at Pico Day) so I hope that you enjoy this!

Great!!
Great job loved the animation for it but can you give a download of the song or something because this version is alot better and cooler!! but overall great animation great music and great matching time with the song!!
The song is This is Halloween by Marilyn Manson....It is in iTunes under the Nightmare Revisited soundtrack...but for those out there who are too cheap for iTunes, I'm sure you can find it on limewire or some torrent.

The animation was awsome, i loved the style and how u made everything it just fit well with the song. Good job and keep it up!
thanksmuch... =] ill try to keep it up...ima planning on a christmas release of a better movie dont know what to do yet =P but you can bet its gonna be full color unlike this

has a nice feel to it
i like this flash its got a nice scary/not scary balance and the song was perfect i have it on my ipod i cant stop listening to it [talkin bout the marilyn manson version of course]
hah yeah i wouldve liked to make it all scary but I figured those animations dont go over as well... =P
