Pretty good

I loved the concept of the family of goombas, but I thought it could have been executed with a bit more style. Animation was good, decent use of sound fx (although voice actin was a bit dull) and overall a great effort for a first flash. Nice job.

Being fair...

Ok the idea was good, I could tell this was your first flash by the lack of attention to some detail, no offense. When you had the phone call maybe you could have turned the background music down a little so it was easier to hear. The dialogue was a little predictable and the jaws part was a little too drawn out. But it was ok for your first.

Now it's no "Thwomps" by Psychosis but it is a valiant start to your sprite animating cause i got a pretty good laugh at it with the jaws theme and Mario running around in the background,it did drag out a bit and the voice acting was decent but a great start,keep practicing and you will get better on it i'm sure.

Crap.

This is a terrible movie. At least Psycosis's "The Thwomps" had mouths. Find sprites that have mouths. Also, blue and grey recolored goombas are a big no-no.

- The voice acting, HORRENDOUS. Practice that.
- The jokes, along with the storyline, to say the least, were dumb. Think harder on your material next time.
- The animation wasn't good. But heck, you used sprites. Try using your own drawing, or better yet, follow the example of Bowser's Kingdom and The Thwomps and use custom sprites.
- Lack of action. The most action in this movie is the main character getting stomped on by Mario. So try putting more action in this.

Overall: If you're going to attempt a spin-off of the wonderful series known as The Thwomps, at least put some real work into it. With that, I'm off!
