This is part of my original 'series' "The Mostly Sensible Misadventures of Steve", which I do intend to make more of.

The music featured in this short is all by the fantastic band Detektivbyrån ( http://www.detektivbyran.
net/ ). It has been used with the band's permission.

This is quite a bit different than my past two submissions as far as style is concerned. I've embraced the Flash methodology and learned from mistakes past to make something that I think is more visually appealing and that was definitely more efficient in production.

No tablet or anything here, everything has been drawn by good, old fashioned mouse. The total amount of time for development was around 65 hours or so.

Credits:
Concept, Creation, and Animation by Dave Mercier
Music by Detektivbyrån
Voice of Terrence: Karim Hadjsalem
Voice of Gamblin' Pete: Jeremy White
Voice of Steve: Dave Mercier
Recording Equipment provided by John Rochetti
Special Thanks to Laura Alix, Pete Mercier, and Marcus Traxl

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. If so, you'll also like the short films and stuff at www.mercworks.org.

[Update] Thanks for all the positive feedback guys!

Sweet. I actually know how he feels.

I've learned my lesson with those damned tickets. Anyways, a very interesting style of animation. Unlike anything I've seen and worth remembering. The old man flying out the fucking window was funny enough to make my jaw drop a little. Haha. And I dug the hell out of the preloader. A really nice touch. Props, and keep up the good work. - Peace
