UPDATE 1/11/12

The first details have finally been announced about the upcoming second and third episodes of the Fallen Angel series. The information can be found at my new blog (URL below). You can expect some big changes to come to the FASeries site in the upcoming weeks as more info about the new episodes is revealed.

Euphoric Creations presents...

Part 3

Here it is at last... the grand conclusion to the first episode of Fallen Angel!

Part 3 didn't quite make the Saturday release as planned (it's 12:45AM... I missed the deadline by 45mins), due to some issues regarding the dialogue in the film. After reviewing Part 3 I found that the voice recordings didn't encode properly, and it took me all day to make them work right. Some of the lines still don't sound great, due to the quality of the mic we used (I exceeded my initial budget long ago, and couldn't afford to buy a legitimate mic), but I have plans to re-record them in the near future when I find a decent mic to borrow.

Anyways, enjoy the film and let me know what you think!

Didn't really convince me.

I will begin my review by stating that this series is technically brilliant. It does set a new bar for the abilities of flash, which is really cool and somewhat entertaining to see. However the scripting direction and the portrayal of characters were horrible at best.

When you spend this much effort in creating a visually impressive world, you can't forget the weight of good storytelling. The main character looks like a misplaced Barbie doll which is unable to convey any feelings at all. Her psychology is very poorly thought out; the scene when she drives in the 1st part is a good example. Suddenly a bus rams a car right in front of her, and no reaction is shown at all. Like something like that is a part of her everyday life (what is she? an innocent surfer or a blunt former marine?).

Your work with the environments were however great. The detail and sense of realism were very convincing, sometimes I even momentarily forgot that it was a flash I was looking at. The sense of scale when the 747 crashed were a marvel to watch. Kudos to the technical workmanship.

I would love to see your skill as an animator being used to forge a great story as well. A good story and convincing characters is a must. Then I'll bring out the 10.

I agree with tkheezy68... I too waited to watch all three before i weighed in and somethings just didn't make sense, like the part where she kills the guys. And wtf was with the long explosion thing? Yeah we get it, the u.s. got screwed. Real good...

bad and boring

3 parts and nothing happens its just so boring
i still dont understand why she kills those guys who save her

good animation, lacking elsewhere

this had some great animation but the story and characters were cliched, unoriginal, shallow and melodramatic. I wrote a very similar story for a film class in middle school. personally i think your a great flash artist but it wouldn't hurt to get some help with your writing
