Set within a virtual world where Kilobytes grow in fields, Tetrominers roam the motherboard and Lightcycles race past plasma beams, Console Wars is an eclectic mix of gaming history delights. Fundamentally a real time strategy, you decide who will dominate the future of gaming as the RETRO fight the NXTGN in twenty levels of action. Register your email to enter competitions, access level guides and receive cheat codes. Watch out for bonus crates to enter secret prize draws. I'll also add a few codes here in a couple of weeks.
Fingers crossed, if the game proves popular we'll get the go ahead to convert the game to AS3 and then for more levels, an online level editor and maybe even multiplayer online.

Use the left mouse button to select / build units
Spacebar, double left click or middle mouse button to deselect units
Use the cursor keys to navigate the map
Shift and the left mouse button allows you to select multiple units
"Q" and a number (1-9) assigns units to a group
Press the number previously assigned to select a group
Press "W" and the number assigned to jump to that group
Click on the X (top left) to pause or surrender
"H" returns you to your main base
Click the spanner icon to repair units
Click the dollar icon to sell units

If the game is running slow enter "widescreen" on the title screen to clear the shroud
