The music is Hybrid - Finished Symphony (Soundtrack Edit).
I created all the visuals by myself from scratch. Sorry for there being no sound in the silly yet fun intro movie, I ran out of time for completion of the project and I now have other commitments that have a higher priority.

Oh and yes it is my first flash movie.

i would say the animation is.. very average. Flat drawings, but overall not bad. The thing is, without the music, I think this would be terrible. The whole piece relies on the music. Then again for your first flash it is very good indeed.

A bit choppy....

Ill give u a 3/5 and a 7/10.

Ill start with the good stuff, the music was perfectly choosed and sincronized with the movie, it had a story unlike most fo the things u see here, the story was a good and simple. why complicate whts already good! And the camera movements were amzing too, there was only one or two u probably i wouldnt do it cause it was too much, but thats only me.

Now for the bad stuff ur frame rate was to low, like i said before it was choppy and not smooth has it should be, and there wasnt much of animating u used the camera most of the times witth the animation standing still, wich is intelligent but the final work would be much more espectacular if u animated more, it would be more work for u to do but maybe u would reach a four in ur score. for last i dont know if u use a drawing tablet or just the mouse but if u se the mouse i suggest u try to bought a tablet, the drawings would be better ( im planing on buying one mysef)

I just like to cangratulate u again, for this good work, and keep it up!!

not bad

It pretty good. let me break it down.

Animation: needs a little work, there wasnt alot of it and when there was it was kinda clunky. the beggining with the stick figure for example i can totally tell that you was using a shape tween on him.. how can i tell something like that? because he wasnt moving he was changing shape! also when the guy was falling you shoulda made the building go faster and faster next to him to give a feeling of acceleration. when he came to the ground at the end it felt like he was crawling especially for how long he was falling he had enough time to hit terminal volocity which is a little over 200 MPH.. it didnt feel like it.

Artwork: was kinda good, not the best particularly on the pictures but it gets the point across very nicely.

Sound: all you had was the background music which wroks for a suiside flash. the song you picked was a good one and it was high quality.

Storyline: way too predictable, i figured out that he was going to jump off a building before he even started looking at the pictures, and even though its a good motive for jumping off a building, i figured out that he was doing it becuase he lost a loved one and wanted to join her .. once agian before we even got to the pics.

Overall: your artwork is good.. you just need to work on the motion stuff and comming up with your own very interesting storyline, once you do that it'll be very good.

This movie had meaning to it. Keep practicing. The graphics were subpar... and it seemed really dragged on for a while, but that wasn't a bad thing (I was expected 'The Final Fight' when I clicked on this) so I was ready for some random action scene with lots of red marks and gun graphics thrown around.

To sum that chatter up, Good Job.

Art is supposed to evoke an emotional reaction, positive or negative, within the person(s) observing it to be considered a success (indifference being the true sign of an artwork's failure). This is one of those successes. Where I felt particularly transfixed was actually during the ending credit screen... I won't say what and why or I may end up spoiling it for others.
