Author Comments

An animation done for a Uni assignment. This was pretty rushed, hence the massive amount of tweens, and the rushed ending. But hopefully you guys'll still enjoy it.

Synopsis: Shigeru Miyamoto accidentally finds himself in the world of Mario, he then goes on an epic (but rather short) journey to find his way home.

Music: Gangster Tripping, by Fatboy Slim

Exceptional and Enjoyable

A remarkable animation. The song was unexpected, but fit nicely. Miyamoto would be proud of this tribute.

A couple comments: Mario has brown hair and a black mustache in the most recent games. I read it was rushed; I suggest when you have the time to make an extended version featuring a few more characters such as Starfox, Pikmin, and some F-Zero members. He could even meet some character from games he didn't create but inspired, such as Pokémon and Kid Icarus. In Japan, one of the default names for the main character in the first Pokémon was even Shigeru! Even so, it's one of the best shorts I've seen in quite a while!

As a final note, I need a stone 'Starman' now, and good luck in your chosen field!

Awkward-Squid responds:

Thanks, I'll definitely keep those suggestions in mind. And having that stone star would be pretty sweet.

Nice job

Was pretty good. Hehe Miyamoto was a genius in the games he made, but he should really get some more games rolling. My wii is sitting idle and i am waiting to anticipate something better =D. (rawr get cracking "the Walt Disney of modern gaming")
