WOW. I mean really- Holy crap, I'm submitting Crunchdown. This game's bin in my back pocket for a DAMN LONG TIME. Took about 3 or 4 months to make, left it up for bid for another month, then I finally got it all sorted and had to wait another week because- Come on, I'm not bringin out a game the same week as the Swain n Ed McMillen.

Ok so WHAT IS CRUNCHDOWN? Well it's a brawler, like Golden Axe or Streets of Rage, or Dad n Me and The Red Baron. I can't even remember the last time I saw one o these on Newgrounds; anyway, here's the twist: You can eat stuff. Not just stuff, you can eat everything- Including enemies. Why would you want to eat everything? Good question. You get the ability of what you eat. Like if you eat a basketball you can bounce guys over, eat a bicycle an you can drive into guys, eat a bush and you can whip guys, I won't spoil it but there's ALOT o shit to find. Oh and it automatically saves your progress so you can carry on playing it some other time.

I wanted to make Crunchdown because I just loved the way Cannoncrotch turned out. It was like a parody/tribute of shooters but it was all original and new. I wanted to do the same thing with fighting games and this is it. It's kind of like a sequel. If Cannoncrotch was my Shaun o the Dead, then this is my Hot Fuzz. Yeah that makes sense.

CREDITS- So many people played a part in this one. Firstly there's the audio guys, about 12 of em. They're in the game, I added a SOUNDTRACK button. These Audio portal guys NEVER get enough credit for stuff. This game'll get like a hundred thousand hits, but the music'll only get two thousand. It's pretty shit.
Also MINDCHAMBER drew all the loading screen. At first it was like a blank screen, and I probably would've added a sprite or something, but then Mindchamber comes up with all his pro artist graphical shit and now it LOOKS LIKE A GAME.
Thanks to the guys that helped me out when the whole thing collapsed ontop of me. There was a point when I had the game about 80% and the whole thing just corrupted and deleted itself or some crazy business. Check my userpage, I freaked out. Anyway, The-EXP and Sasuke2910 both swooped in at the same time and offered to decompile the whole thing. This game wouldn't have even bin finished without that, so that's great.
Thanks to ALL THEM FOOLS AT EXPLOSM for telling me when everythin was broken and shit, and suggesting abilities n shit.

Actually, if you've read this far I might aswell give you the cheat. Just a THANKS FOR READING thing. Click in the top-right corner of the title screen and type in "EVERYTHING", then start a new game. It'll unlock everything.

What else- what else.. THANKS TO NEWGROUNDS FOR TEACHING ME GAMES. Also for buying this thing. Do you know how hard it is to sell a game with this much use of the word FUCK? You can vomit on a prostitute and get an achievement for it. I got a couple offers from guys who wanted me to censor it all, but Newgrounds were the only ones that just went with it from day one. So that's great.

I don't THINK there's anything else for me to say. I think this is the part where I get about 50 reviews a minute telling me how glitched it is. I started my next game if you wanna check that out on my userthing.
