FLASHGOERS BEWARE!!!! THIS MOVIE IS SLIGHTLY EDUCATIONAL!!!!
This was made as a project for school. The idea was to make something funny and informative about the english colonies. I cut out the names, and submitted it to NewGrounds, only because of it's comeidic value. Enjoy.

lol that was not educational
you need to add more contrast between the text and the background. i could barely read. and the objects dont match the flash peoples sizes. you need to improve a lot more.

This was actually pretty good for a school project,
Was your teacher impressed? Did you get any grade?
If so, what grade?
BY THE WAY we had about that thing this flash is about a week ago!!!
HAHAH
Anyway, things to improve on:
- Background is moving? Do you only have one layer?
To get more layers, click the "Insert Layer"-button or
go on the "Insert..."-selection in the top-left-corner.
Then you can have one layer for backgrounds and on
layer for characters etc.
- The text is hard to read. Next time, please fill the chat-bubbles
white, or make the text glow. To make a text glow, go on the
"Filters"-selection next to the "Properties"-Selection.
- The movement is pretty laggy. Use more frames! Or you can
use tweens. (right-click character)
I think you just should quit sprites, and pick up the brush tool. ;)
Other than that, you getting better and better!
- The frames were long enough to read the text.
(very many animations are bad in that thing)
- Good use on the backgrounds. You make the
perfect atmosphere.
- Really good music choice!

You should also try animating your own backgrounds!
(Then you might choose linetool and gradient colors! ;)

Thanks for the advice! Not all of my animations will be sprites, i'm just using sprites for my early animations because they're easy to work with.

Yikes
The animation was terrible, choppy, unrealistic...etc. etc.
I would suggest the next time you make a Flash, take advantage of "layering" instead continuously copy and pasting the background in, trying make make it just like it was in the previous frame.
Since it was for school, I gave you a 1.
Layering, thus far, has given me hell. I'm trying to figure it out though.

no offense but this was awful , i could barely read text and i got bored while watching the flash. If there is a next time you should put music that fits the situation, not some random techno music. over all i give it a 3 for the effort that u put in.
Yeah, I'm still learning the ropes of flash 8.
