MASTERMIND: WORLD CONQUEROR - Manage your minions, defend your base, and conquer this puny planet ONCE AND FOR ALL!

*PRESS SPACE TO LOCK YOUR CAMERA VIEW!*

WARNING: For assistance in figuring out what to do next, click the Help button for options at the top of the game screen, or click the Question Mark buttons in each of your rooms for further explanation.

This is the first game I have ever developed from scratch and programmed myself on top of all game visuals, so I do truly hope you enjoy my six months of efforts in bringing you this game. It wouldn't have been the same without the unrivaled vocal talents of TomaMoto, as well as Andy Dennis, Egoraptor, Suzy (Egoraptor's better half), Tom Fulp, Rinachan, Afro-Ninja, Luis Prieto, Toonimated, and of course myself as the Mastermind ;) Who could forget that?

So go conquer the world already! GOOD LUCK, YOU'LL NEED IT.

*KNOWN ISSUES*

Infinite Attack Bug - Your base continues to flash "Under Attack" even though you've survived all attacking enemies. This prevents your game from saving and your units from healing. Currently, the only way to fix is to return to the menu and Continue from your previous checkpoint, or Evacuate your base for another (which, unfortunately, will lose the base you are evacuating, but at least your progress will be saved).

Turret No-Target Bug - A targetting glitch causes turrets to target enemies they cannot see, preventing them from attacking enemies that come close to them. This glitch resolves itself after you've cleared the checkpoint.

Tutorial Freeze - Should be fixed now. If not, starting a New Game will reset the tutorial for you.

Nice but easy

It was a very good game. Great disign and everything. But it was way to easy. I had a hard time keeping playing because i really didn't to work that hard to win.

Next time try to punch up the difficulty.

I felt like I wasted my time, and yes, I voted 6.

Good points:
-Great dialogue and integration of movie elements with game elements. I don't think anyone has ever done that before the way you did.
-This is an original and unique game, with a unique gameplay concept.
-Graphics and animation are top-notch; I especially enjoy the main battle screen.
-The ending was hilarious.

Bad points:
These are the points that I really wanted to say, for purposes of constructive criticism.
-The game is too easy. The game really is played from a menu, not once did I ever feel threatened by the attacking forces or that I would have to switch bases.
-The gameplay elements all affect each other, but they are not greatly integrated and it seems pointless to destroy territories, assassinate people, or bomb things if you can just advance through the science missions and win the game. The bonuses that you gain from bombing the territories are insignificant if you can't even lose the ground battle (which I couldn't). Think about it, you can just spam 20 minions per fight and win against any unit, whether it be a tank or a helicopter. By the way, the tanks and helicopters were very well animated and I felt scared when I first saw them; unfortunately, I was able to take them out using standard rifles. The only time where you actually do have to do missions other than science missions is at the beginning, where you have to rob banks to get enough money to get a legitimate financial front, and near the end, when you've researched all the science and you need a bit more experience to reach level 7. By then, you have robots arming all of your rooms, and if you developed your economic front already, you already have all of the advanced weapons and other technologies. The game basically plays itself by this point.
-The game has a steep learning curve and it plays more like a movie than a game. All you have to do is press buttons and you win, and you can't really leave your base unless it is on missions, which are essentially movies.

All in all, I know that this is your first game and everything and by all standards, this is one of the most incredible first games anyone has ever made using flash, paying special attention to those awesome integrated movies. I would have liked to see more of the henchmen's dialogue and the Patsies' movies, but again, the game was so easy that I never really needed more than 2 or 3 of each type, whether they were unlocked or not. I never really got a sense of the point of the game from a gameplay standpoint, and this sense was confirmed the more and more I played the game, down to the bitter end. Not that it wasn't fun, I just would never play it again.
