MASTERMIND: WORLD CONQUEROR - Manage your minions, defend your base, and conquer this puny planet ONCE AND FOR ALL!

This is the first game I have ever developed from scratch and programmed myself on top of all game visuals, so I do truly hope you enjoy my six months of efforts in bringing you this game. It wouldn't have been the same without the unrivaled vocal talents of TomaMoto, as well as Andy Dennis, Egoraptor, Suzy (Egoraptor's better half), Tom Fulp, Rinachan, Afro-Ninja, Luis Prieto, Toonimated, and of course myself as the Mastermind ;) Who could forget that?

So go conquer the world already! GOOD LUCK, YOU'LL NEED IT.



Infinite Attack Bug - Your base continues to flash "Under Attack" even though you've survived all attacking enemies. This prevents your game from saving and your units from healing. Currently, the only way to fix is to return to the menu and Continue from your previous checkpoint, or Evacuate your base for another (which, unfortunately, will lose the base you are evacuating, but at least your progress will be saved).

Turret No-Target Bug - A targetting glitch causes turrets to target enemies they cannot see, preventing them from attacking enemies that come close to them. This glitch resolves itself after you've cleared the checkpoint.

Tutorial Freeze - Should be fixed now. If not, starting a New Game will reset the tutorial for you.

It is just so obvious how much work you put into this. you deserve every bit of that almost perfect score. I mean, if you have free time you can play this game all day! Sadly, I don't have all day :(. The sound is amazing, the plots are too, so are the animations and all the little and big ideas! JUST AMAZING! Well done The-Swain - You have gained all of my respect. You are faved and so is this game. I'll play it every single day till completion ;)

The game was worth the waiting. I like all the extra efforts you took, such as making a quick little video for all the missions.

The ONLY negative thing I can say is the shortage of control over your minions in a fight. It would be nice to be able to have some stand beside turrets, rather than have them run out and attack the enemy before it gets to the turrets range. But that's a minor thing.

Still 10/10 5/5. Always a fan.

Real() fun to play.

Gameplay was polished, and meshed with the art and atmosphere of the mastermind series perfectly. Definately proves 'tacking' genres together actually works, which I've been preaching for a while now.

A few game design problems (bugs are forgiveable): the big 'reveal' of mission failure seemed to be spoiled by the notoriety jump before the video. You can buy workers cheaper while others are off on missions (likely not an oversight, but never mentioned to the player and so it feels like cheating the system. I'd prefer that over otherwise, but it could have been referenced). The ending is abrupt with not enough warning it will end the game.

The soldier in the tutorial said 'see where this is going?' when describing the missions. If that's a nod to Evil Genius, it should be more obvious.

I LOVE this game. I can safely say I'm addicted. 5/5! I would give you a 10 on the review, but that turret bug is really annoying... I start wondering the point of turrets if they only deploy and attack about 30% of the time. You should really look into it. Also, make it so when you click on 'walkthrough' it opens a new window. ;p

Other than that the game is amazing! Fix that turret bug and you've got yourself a masterpiece :)

Leaving and coming back to your game (preferably after a checkpoint so that the game saves) should resolve the turret issue, at least until it pops back up again :(
