A concept of my vision of a possible Windows 7 user interface. No taskbar, replaced by a button in the corner, above the windows sidebar, which shows all windows, including minimized windows, in an expose-like window switcher/picker.
Lemme know what you think. Remember, this is just a concept for my own pleasure. I'm not suggesting that this would definitely be an improvement over the taskbar. But maybe people will like it, we'll see.

Hey, I'm not here to get good ratings, I'm here to get feedback. Please don't contribute to this getting blammed! Newgrounds is the only place I could think of the would host flashes.

Please don't rate below 2 so this stays up and hosted so I can to link to it on Windows 7 concept forums!

Great design for a Windows 7 UI.

You could make a actual Windows 7 simulator with this!

The taskbar organizes efectively all the tasks running. This would be a downgrade, and we dont want another downgrade like Xp -> Vista, right ;)?

isn't this what macs do?

it's been a while since I used a mac, but isn't this what happens when you hit like f5 on a mac? in any case I don't think it should REPLACE the taskbar, perhaps become a part of it to help manage when you have lots of stuff open, but with only like 2-5 windows the taskbar works fine, anyway, I'll give you a 5 since it isn't really much of an animation or game, but is a decent idea

Windows Vs Doors

This is a pretty good interface, very plausable, I agree on the windows button and the side bar, the theme is a little dull but thats what windows are good for. I mean I look a window for a view not some boring baige background. Nice concept
