This is NOT Super Meat Boy!

Its simply the flash prototype that Super Meat Boy was based off of.
SMB, will play very differently and is 100% new.. what im saying is if you even slightly enjoy the prototype, you will LOVE SMB!

It is hard.

The controls were difficult and frustrating, but it is obviously the point. The game needs more added features (Achievements, upgrades, etc. ) to make me want to continue and play, but, the games simplicity, makes it fun for a few minutes, if you're really bored.

nah

Physics suck. I can walk on the salt for two spaces and nothing happens but I can't land because the speed is too sensitive

ugh

next time you design the physics for your game, make sure that they aren't different for land and air. it is extremely frustrating to be bound by momentum when in air and not when on ground because the transition makes it extremely hard to judge. i actually hate momentum in video games with a passion and think it is possibly one of the worst ideas brought into common, simple video games. so, better you not have it at all, but please if you are going to use the damned thing at least make it the same between land and air movement, for the gamer's sake.

while the incongruence in momentum is enough to ruin the game, the theme itself isn't bad but also is far from great. its kong-esque end level could stand to be refined. the simplicity is great, and it most likely would have been a pretty fun game if i could bear to play it through.

A few issues

1. Not innovative. A throw-back to old games.
Does not bring anything new to the table such as your other work like "tri-achnid" or "aether".
2. not much to it. gets boring after about 4 minutes.
3. pretty tiny and hard to see.
4. text+layout looks like a programmer debug setup...
