Its simply the flash prototype that Super Meat Boy was based off of.
SMB, will play very differently and is 100% new.. what im saying is if you even slightly enjoy the prototype, you will LOVE SMB!

Some levels are a pain in the rear end!
I found this game addictive, & I've been playing this game for about 2 hrs +. But, as I said before, those levels are unenviable. Luckily there are illimitable lives, so that's fair enough. It's still agonizing just to be so close to succeeding, and one little touch of saws, fire or salt... dead.

WAAAAAY to sensitive
great game and all but you can only get so far depending a lot on your keyboard arrow keys because the controls are sensitive as hell. i mean you tap the key and it sends him flying. i got to world 2 level 2 before i gave up going about half way and then dying repeatedly at about the same spot because i would over/underjump something by a millimeter. and i dont like it when platform games let you jump off the same wall over and over again because by some strange telekinesis you can control your fall. i guess it's just a prototype though, ill have to try out SMB.
overall: good job.
Fun, But Difficult
If you're a freak for secrets and extras, you'll get frustrated with this game. On the flip side, if you have ever play N, then you'll probably find this game, or at least the first 15 or so levels, relatively easy. It gets much more difficult in stage two, so watch out.
The wall jumping just doesn't feel very good.
A lot of games these days baby the player with tutorials. This is widely considered to be redundant at best, and at worst, bad for the player for treating him like a moron.
But, as people in many western cultures fail to understand, there can be too much of a good thing.
It's bad to baby the player.
It's also bad to make a game so difficult for the sake of being difficult that it's annoying.
The same way it's bad to wither away and die due to dehydration, while it's also equally bad to drink so much that your stomach explodes and you die.
Don't let my choice of stars fool you- this is a good game, and an impressive prototype to say the least.
But when a game, a thing made specifically made to waste time makes you FEEL like you've wasted too much time on it just to get to the ending, it's flat out aggravating.
There is such a thing as a freakin' balance.
IN SHORT: Learn to balance your shit, maybe your games would be even more successful if they didn't cater specifically to people who can only get off from severe pains in the ass.
