Difficulty - Perfect
I do not enjoy platformers. I think the concept of the game type leads to either too easy of a game or too frustrating of a game.
The difficulty in Meat Boy, however, is perfect in my opinion. The ability to skip some levels allowed me to come back to level types that were too much for my current skill. OMG I hated the last salt factory level for so long. Completing a challenging level though filled me with pride that I had conquered a personal struggle.
Also of note, collecting all the band aids was a fun challenge afterward. Some I thought could actually be harder but easier to see. My last band aid that I collected took time to track because I couldn't see it. While the band aid on the last level was great because it forced me to recognize part of the level design I didn't understand the purpose of prior.
