This is NOT Super Meat Boy!

Its simply the flash prototype that Super Meat Boy was based off of.
SMB, will play very differently and is 100% new.. what im saying is if you even slightly enjoy the prototype, you will LOVE SMB!

A few issues

1. Not innovative. A throw-back to old games.
Does not bring anything new to the table such as your other work like "tri-achnid" or "aether".
2. not much to it. gets boring after about 4 minutes.
3. pretty tiny and hard to see.
4. text+layout looks like a programmer debug setup...

Awesom!

This game should be frontpage, it's really High caliber platformer :P Love it!
Man, I didn't believe you when you said it was hard... until the salt factory xD It,s really great.

Tell me, is there a bonus when you splotch meat juice all over the juiceable floors and wall? Because I'll stop trying if it's not XD

Interesting concept...

was this game inspired by the "jumper" series? It sure looked like it. Anyway, I like the overall idea of "meatboy". The visual presentation was light, but the animation was very good. Nice job on those little slideshows at the beginning of each chapter, those were quite interesting. The gameplay and controls were very simple. G'job. I also liked the blood splattering all over the place and tainting the tiles. It was a nice touch. Fun levels, overall pretty balanced. Really good idea, that 3/5 level completion thing.

Now for the complaints. My main complaint is the touchyness of the character. Maybe add more friction to terrain, or reduce maximum speed? Very often, I'd jump onto a platform, then as I chained a jump to the next one, fell into salt or whatever was there. I'd also like to complain about the sawblades. The main problem with those is they reach a little bit out of their allowed space, which makes them deadlier than they'd normally be. The cannons fire a bit too quickly, and it'd be cool to be able to jump on their cannon balls.

Overall a very good game. Pretty hard, too. Nice job, guys.

Enjoyable and Easy to Play, Hooray!

I enjoy to pixel graphics, and the simplicity of this game. I am glad that it was easy to follow and of course had catchy music with it. I wish there were louder sound effects. Overall, the game was successful.

You may want to make the game bigger, window wise, if you are going to make a squeal. Also, more obstacles would be better for this game.
