This is NOT Super Meat Boy!
Its simply the flash prototype that Super Meat Boy was based off of.
SMB, will play very differently and is 100% new.. what im saying is if you even slightly enjoy the prototype, you will LOVE SMB!

awesome game! its convinced me im so gonna buy "super meat boy"!!!!!
"Super Meat Boy" is significantly better then this game and I suggest buying it as a improves on everything about this game. That being said there is a reason fans made this game noted by Microsoft and make it "Super" according to Edmund. The music is generic with only one exception. The Salt Factory theme is great. Though the sequel improves by making every soundtrack amazing, but due to my repetitiveness I'll stop mentioning the squeal just know the Sequel is 3x better then this game in every way especially music and control. The graphics and art style to me personally is pretty umm mediocre. The 8 bit style doesn't mix all that well and the bg art was okay, but nothing impressive. The character art is very bad to me and the plot is barely existent with my ending being very crappy....literally. So the presentation is awful, with a nonexistent or entertaining plot. The only thing this game has for it is the level editor and game play which makes up for majority of the games flaws, but not all of it. The level editor is very deep and was actually made into a worse game, but that's for a different day, but the level editor itself is amazing and deep and you can make levels exactly like they were in the actual game in minutes. It's REALLY good and honestly the best part of the game. The game play doesn't bring anything new and just refines what's been there which is totally okay for me. For Mario fan's put it this way. Bandage Girl=Star Bandage=Diamonds or Medallions. The good thing is that there is no life system so that gives the developers a reason to be as hard, but fair as possible. Nothing is cheap and despite the difficulty it's very fun. However, some levels do look lazily made it's overall still fun game I come back too
Bad Graphics, Bad Music, Bad Plot, Good Game play and Amazing Level Editor. Overall it's a fun game I constantly come back to, but it's not Edmund's best.
Incredible game, fantastic level design, i'm buying the real version.
THIS HAS THE WORST JUMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HECTIC fun. I haven't seen a better flash game in years. This is that good. So, to express my love for this game, here's a overly large review about what I think about this game.
The platforming is precise, and you move a lot which adds a lot of difficulty without making it feel unfair. The "Impossible Bandages" are a great mix, as they had immense difficulty to levels that seem fairly easy. Nothing in the game made you feel like a death was the programmers fault. Most things you see what they do BEFORE you have to avoid them, making it no one's fault but yours.
And don't even get me started on the music. It takes directly from SMB, which really makes the game feel like a demo.
And the level design? I have nothing but positive thoughts! Clever level design, and each world (worlds usually contain 10-12 levels) feels different from the last, making each world a memorable experience. No world feels like it was exactly like another, which is common for modern platform games.
This is one of if not the best flash games I've ever played. If you haven't played it yet, you really have to play it to believe it. "Meat Boy" gets a 10/10. I highly encourage anyone reading this to buy SMB. It's available on steam for 14.99. It might sound like a lot, but trust me- It will be worth the money.
