This is NOT Super Meat Boy!
Its simply the flash prototype that Super Meat Boy was based off of.
SMB, will play very differently and is 100% new.. what im saying is if you even slightly enjoy the prototype, you will LOVE SMB!

I've spent a lot of free time playing this game. ;_; The physics are basic and satisfying, same as the visuals, I don't usually spend more than 5 seconds actually mucking about in flash games but this one is the best one I've seen on newgrounds in quite a while.
To the person before me
Try jumping in the air, and then tell me the physics are the same as when youre on the ground.
I would love to hear the story of how many bones you broke in your misinformed body, really.
The game isnt perfect, simply needs a few more innovations in concept and gameplay, but thoroughly enjoyable.
I would have given a proper review, but the mentally deficient idiot before me distracted me.
next time you design the physics for your game, make sure that they aren't different for land and air. it is extremely frustrating to be bound by momentum when in air and not when on ground because the transition makes it extremely hard to judge. i actually hate momentum in video games with a passion and think it is possibly one of the worst ideas brought into common, simple video games. so, better you not have it at all, but please if you are going to use the damned thing at least make it the same between land and air movement, for the gamer's sake.
while the incongruence in momentum is enough to ruin the game, the theme itself isn't bad but also is far from great. its kong-esque end level could stand to be refined. the simplicity is great, and it most likely would have been a pretty fun game if i could bear to play it through.
The physics were right on point. The animation was smooth and just flawless. Fun to play, and hard as all hell. Surprisingly though, the expert levels weren't as hard as some of the levels in the actual game O.O
Excellent Job guys, I hope you guys make a sequel.
(needs music off switch)
Fun, but controls were a bit awkward
The controls seem a bit slippery, but it seems kind of intentional since he leaves that trail of blood!
Shoot swords, teleport and don't mess with the turtles
Join Marko Sharko on his first detective case!
Jump through a bustling cat city collecting fish for points.
