The Obama-McCain Debate Simulator, Election 2008
Choose your candidate and get ready to lie and argue about nothing! The debate is in your hands now!
Includes sound clips of the candidates and startlingly realistic lies and stupidity.
When your opponent makes a point, you have to counter it - if you don't, you'll slowly lose approval points until voters forget, which happens fairly quickly. The debate moves very quickly, so you'll have to think up some stupid excuse before your opponent moves on. Be careful what you say, but not too careful, voters are gulliable.
I tried to remove all bias and make it balanced, but I admit I might have been a little hard on McCain.

EDIT: Oops! Fixed crippling bug. Hope it wasn't too annoying...

I like this concept.
I think you can improve this greatly!
I suggest adding much more quotes to prevent any "memorable" ones from occurring, maybe make TWO or MORE arguement boxes appear at once!
Actually, there were two or more argument boxes appearing at once in the first version. It was a bit too confusing, especially considering that at first you don't really know what's going on. I had to slow it down a little bit so it was more playable. Also, some of the less politically-minded players don't really understand the quotes and reasoning behind arguments and consequently proceed to vote zero.
Anyway, thanks for your review. Maybe I'll make another one if Palin runs in 2012... that would be fun.

Pretty hard.
That was very difficult. Now I know how it feels like to be John McCain and Barack Obama, but it seems as if Obama has a relatively easier time of it. Could have been better, but for a political quickie, it wasn't bad.

IT NEVER ENDS WHEN YOU ARE WINNING
I have noticed and fixed this bug. You had played one game, then clicked 'play again', and the timer froze. Sorry about that, it works properly now.
