"Karoshi" is a Japanese word and means "death by overwork". In this game many things are not what you'd expect and the goal of each level is counter-intuitive: you need to die.
Each stage presents a new challenge. There are several objects you can use to solve puzzles, and in later levels the game will even break it's own rules to surprise you.
50 clever levels and a boss fight at the end. We hope you have fun (killing yourself)!
If you have played the Game Maker version, YES this is an official Flash version!
I'm beating ALL these levels wrong. On 41 I somehow shot the safe from the wrong side, and It fell on me. On the levels with the levers, if you get just far away enough to still flip the switches, you can walk back to the electric things, and the switch stays on. I feel guilty for discovering these things. It feels like cheating. :(
It is astonishingly difficult how difficult it is for a suicidal man with a gun to kill himself. Especially when he is apparently immune to bombs.
Essential stupidity aside, this is a fun a little puzzle game. The ending makes no sense to me, however.
Level 41: Jump on the first block, then rapidly shoot the box AND safe, then jump into spikes. c:
Great game. c:
i remember playing this when i was younger, and back then i was really confused when i first jumped onto the spikes and exploded, but progressed onto the next level. playing it a second time has been great, i was able to beat it, and only had to use a walkthrough on two levels. great game overall, one of my favorites. 5 stars!
I remember playing this a few years ago; suddenly stumbled across this gem again.
This is a game where you need to kill yourself in order to progress further. It's pretty creative, and some of the levels are quite challenging. The first time I played this, I had to use a walkthrough (and subsequently facepalmed and said "ooohhh, I see" everytime I consulted it).
Even though its age is starting to show, (when compared to "newer" games) I still find this a fun, creative challenge. 10/10
