It's been a long 16 months since I first uploaded episode 6. But now the wait is over.
For those who are wondering why it has taken so long, I won't lie to you, I just couldn't be bothered to work on it until a month ago. But part of me is happy that I could get the next episode completed.
Contrary to popular belief, this isn't the last episode in the series and I don't intend on waiting another 16 months to release episode 8. I apologise for keeping you all waiting that long, I am grateful to all those stayed patient.
Just a fair warning, this episode is quite long and has a lot more dialogue compared to the previous episodes in the series. I was trying to add more story to it rather than mindless violence, I promise there won't be quite as much next time. =B
But until then, enjoy the new episode of Super Mario bros Z!

Truly worth the wait. Couldn't have done better myself.

It was great.

I love all the hidden stuff, and very happy you knew about -1 world as well as adding the cameo spots and such. To bad we weren't able to see Mecha Mario and mecha sonic fight, cause we all know thats going to happen.

I loved this one as I loved the others, I also loved how you had the Goomba and teh Koopa from Andrew Raskin's "Bowser's Kingdom" in there as a cameo, taht got a good laugh out of me. I also loved the "over 9000" reference. Oh and I loved the Mario Sprite you used when they were in the minus world.

The animatoin and fighting and sounds and everything was great and well made.

Can't wait to see the next one.

Overall a very strong performance, however there are some blaring flaws that have suddenly appeared in this episode, and they should not remain in the series beyond this point.

- You spent too much time thinking up back story. We don't need THAT much history for the plot to make sense. Enough to make the world seem complete, but not the entire Mushroom Almanac.

- The jokes, were bad. Either use good jokes, or don't use jokes at all.

- You BROKE THE FOURTH WALL. Excessively. Since this series hasn't done it before, there was no reason to do it now. It isn't clever, and it isn't funny. It's a ploy used by low production value productions to grab the attention of viewers who would otherwise remain distant, and all it did here was kill even more time. Ploys don't need to be used when the series is already good. Please don't remind me that I'm at the computer, watching a series. It takes me out of it.

As you can see, all of the serious problems were concerning the writing. The plot itself is quite good, but you're drawing it out too much, and adding too much crap, much like DBZ itself. How ironic. Anyway, the action is still great, and your experimentation with the new graphics was fresh and interesting. Just cut down on the dialogue, so I can enjoy the finer elements of your work.
