Did you play Ragnarok Online? Do you like that game?

Forget all you thought you knew about Swords & Sandals and prepare yourself for the quest of a thousand lifetimes! Powerful new Arena Champions await you. Are you ready to become the ultimate gladiator?
This the DEMO version of the game as usual. It's a big demo though, should see you through at least 50 battles. Bear in mind that's a lot bigger than many flash games you might play.
Support indie developers, we're just trying to make a living - course we'll never compete with the multimillion dollar corporations like Electronic Arts, but there's some real gems to be had ... basically don't just write off a game because it's made in Flash ;)
Swords & Sandals III:Multiplae Ultratus is coming very soon, the beta test was a great success and once some of the bugs are ironed out we will launch it in a month or so.
** Thanks to the Newgrounds for the Front Page spot - much obliged **

I am impressed
Animation:9/10:
Good animation. Improvements to the physics of animation could be made.
Sound:9/10:
A good, high quality, backing track that added to the submission. This suits the submission well. Well picked.
Art:8/10:
Good art. Detailed, high quality art and backgrounds.
Humour:Not rated:
Not enough humour to rate.
Presentation8/10:
I liked the way this was presented. The presentation helped out the overall quality and has improved since the earlier games in the series.
Preloader:Not rated:
A good preloader, but I only give scores if the preloader was created by the artist, unless you created the fizzy preloader.
Style:7/10:
I'm not sure if I like the style of art in this series. It's nice but the character style looks quite weird.
Violence:9/10:
The violence in this flash was very well done. I liked the blood effects if you choose to kill them.
V-Camming:Not rated:
No vCam (or none that I could see) used.
Gameplay:10/10:
Very good gameplay. The many opportunities regarding what to do were nice and stopped the flash from getting repetitive. The new options and places to go were very nice. A real improvement from the earlier games. The options for the character model were very nice. An improvement in AI was needed from the previous game and there was one, though it's hardly noticeable.
Execution:10/10:
Very well executed. Many good new features that make the overall quality of the flash just that bit higher.
Overall:9/10:
A very nice game. Though it felt more like an improved version of the earlier games than a new game.
MwMike, thanks for the in-depth review. Curious as to what a Vcam is?

Bigger than Ben Hur!
If you like monsters, axes, blunt weapons, spells and clockwork robots then you better load this game up, now!
It truly is a masterpiece of flash wizardry... Nuff said.

All Hail King Juice !!!
In a year which saw the death of the great Ernest Gary Gygax a new hope has truly emerged in the form of Oliver Joyce (OJ to his friends). S&S 3 is the most complete and comprehensive game of it's genre. The leap in design and game play is nothing short of remarkable from the second installment. OJs ability to condense so much fun together with his trademark quirkiness into such an accessible game is what allows him to stride the flash game world like a mighty colossus. From his Kingdom perched high in the heavens above Luna Park one can only wait in anticipation for next great game from King Juice/
A princely review from the big dog of flash games, the Sidog himself. Looking forward to Smashtastic cricket in 2009 !
