They often get simplistic randomness confused with dreamlike surrealism.
This animation, my friend, was the latter.
You see, fellow Newgroundians, randomness is a lazy art style in which people pick stupid nouns and use them more often in their work than usual, making them appaear, as the name says, randomly. Their idea is to make "shock value" by making people become confused on why they meaninglessly picked those stupid nouns.
Surrealism, however, is the concept of twisting logic in order to create some sort of dreamlike feeling, which this animation did, and quite well, shall I say. Usually, surrealism is a bit... darker, and morbid, so this is a somewhat good break from that.
