Hey, this is a demo of the Orange Runner 2 game engine, just a taste of what's to come, so there's not a lot to do yet... This is unfinished (obviously) so please review accordingly. There are some known issues I am trying to fix, but if you find any bugs, please PM me.

Arrows - Move

(KNOWN ISSUES)
- the disarm system sometimes glitches.
- When the player stands very close to the lip of a pointed ramp. he sometimes jerks around

Needs work

One thing I liked about the original OR, is you could see what you were doing (even if the saws were a little unpredictable). With this as it is now, I have trouble telling which way is up. If I were a little closer in, the game would be much better.

I do like the idea that you now fight against the black guys. Relfex Mode is plus as well. But for lack of obstacles and power cells, a part of OR just seems to be missing.

One more thing - "How to play" doesn't work.

Other than these things, I do like the direction you're taking. And the running animation is much improved. Keep working at it.

Hmmm...

I think your addition of some action and gun shooting is a twist that Orange Runner improves on, but the demo had A LOT of bugs. The original Orange Runner is one of my all time favs, so please do not dissapoint me and other Orange Runner fans and make #2 a one to remember.

Bug Report,,....

When i jump off of anything then i start moving slightly then come to a halt my guy runs in place. Good game so far though...

I hope it's going to be good

Orange runner is by far one of my favorite games. Not only is it simple and entertaining but it also leaves so much space to imagination! Orange runner is a game about a stick man that runs insanely fast to an orange background that plays to the beat of awesome music, this leaves so much space to the player to think of a storyline for the Orange runner (why he's running, who he is ect.), it's like when you go to see a movie based on a book you read, and you're sitting there looking at the characters you thought up yourself be completely different in the movie (I have no idea if i'm making myself clear). Also like Ichigaya wrote the speed in the demo is nothing compared to the one the Orange Runner had in the first game. This actually reminds me a lot of how the Sonic Games started sucking cause they started to fade away from all the speed and focus on BS story lines that no one gives a shit about,(cause lets face it, no one cares who the fuck the emo hedgehog is, wow that was off topic). I just hope that Orange Runner will still give off that feeling of open space, insane never ending speed, freedom and ear breaking music beats. I thought that the new jump was pretty cool xept he jumped so high I had no idea what was going on. lol weed reference

Nice.

Well I see you took the loopdy loop suggestion in to consideration. Now add the acceleration elements of the first one with this one and this game WILL be going on my favorites as well as many others'. Great job and keep it up.
