An effective language tool despite its faults

Although this is by far one of the most effective language tools I have come across within newgrounds so far there are numerous albeit minor faults within the flash that need to be addressed, the first of which being within the Romanization flash card practice tool. Despite the overall effectiveness of this tool there appears to be a language fault concerning the katakana symbol for wo being mistranslated to o. The only other obvious flaw(s) I have found so far are the lack of immediate menu options in-game and within the "Games" and "Flash Cards" menus. Despite such flaws the ease of understanding and the clear, user-friendly presentation of the flash itself serves as quite accommodating to those naive of the Japanese language and I personally recommend this to any English speaking individual willing to learn the written language. (I do apologize if my review comes off as rude, disrespectful, arrogant or offensive)

It's the thought that counts

I'm not the biggest fan of these things that try to teach you to speak another language. I am still ashamed that I attended two years of Spanish, but don't seem to recognize conversation. I'm glad you differientiated this from your other one by revealing it was Katakana. It really didn't help there was no sound; that's something I would like to add. Your intention was to have something learn how to speak Japanese and I believe you delivered that quite well. It is nice that you do well in this area.

Very useful!

Sorry, it took me so long before sitting down and going through the whole game. The ad at the beginning was unexpected since the hiragana version didn't have it. The chart is missing the B column. Besides those, I think this flash is very good and well made. I like the fun of the falling katakana, the usefulness of the flash cards, and the challenge of the memory game. with a little fix, the game will be complete and perfect. You did a good job with this flash, please keep up the good work.

It's really helpful to those who don't know Japanese... but you're lettin' the cat outta the bag man!
