Aether is an "Art Game" about personal childhood feelings and experiences. Please keep and open mind
when playing, relax and enjoy the game.
If the game is running slow for you, there is a link on the title screen to a standalone PC/Mac version
that will run a lot faster on slower computers.

"Art Game" fits.
Okay so, where to start.
Propably best on the beginning, the Preloader alone is worth a comment. Nice work you did there, I can see other people submitting stuff not half as well designed as your preloader alone. Bonus Point for that.
To the game itself:
The grafics were nice smooth, the design did fit in itself, nothing that fell out of it. Good Job there. I would've preferred a bit better contrast though, I guess it was your aim to keep it like this, but I thought it was mainly pretty exhausting for the eye. Not a big thing, just a personal opinion.
The controls were smooth and well done as soon as you had them once. Took me a few tries to get to that point, but that's pretty normal in these kind of games, okay herefor.
The sound was... well. It did fit. I did like some of the changes, but on the longer hand, it did treat my nerves a bit. Ofc also this is a matter of taste, but well, why bothering with comments if I just keep writing "everything is a matter of taste"? ;)
The Gameplay itself, the "Story" and the Puzzles were average, in my opinion. Although I did like the Style a lot, I gotta say that I don't think too much of the actual "playing". Most of the Puzzles were really no challenge at all and did solve them by themselves. The Water planet is the best example. I did just land there and did know what to do. The "free swinging around" did give the game a nice touch, but in the end, all you were able to do was visit the planets (if I did not miss anything - what might be the case).
Also, I didnt had the feeling of actually having done something, when I did reach the End of the game. That's propably because I do not see the puzzles as hard orso.
Reading your own description it says "Aether is an "Art Game" [...]", which seriously does fit to it. Nice to look at but not a challenge. If you do a Sequel with like harder challenges, it might be really great, but it obvious that your focus on this one has not been the "Playing". That's fine, but not perfect ;)
Fun in a very weird way.
I'm frankly surprised I played it to the end. To its credit the game has non stressful and intuitive game play.
I can't find any planets!!! I NEED HELP!!!!! UUUUGHHHH!!!!
