Please note, this is not an "escape" game. It's a straightforward point and click with an entire camp to explore.

Started in 2004, this was intended to be the sequel to 2003's Escape from Elm Street. My friend Joe (SleazeRocker) and I paired up to create it, but got in a little over our heads and let the project drop. We worked on and off but eventually progress came to a halt. In 2005 I remade the original Elm Street game, while this one was still on the backburner. Finally at the beginning of 2008 we decided we couldn't let our old work go to waste- so we picked it back up, revamped everything, and finished it out. It worked out pretty well, because we had plenty of time to fix up problems in the game and polish it. Not to mention that music man Josh Kemp expressed interest in creating a custom soundtrack for it, which was an awesome addition to the atmosphere. Enjoy!

um, goldenhalohero?

well, the graphics arent that great, but the game is still a thriller.
and to answer your question, the reason hes dosen't have his machete is because he isn't the real jason, (warning! spoiler.) if you find the fanatics note, you'll see that
he wrote that the real jason hasnt returned yet..... and someone else is defending the camp for him while hes gone.(warning spoiler2!) and if you read the note further,he also noted that he kept jason's machete and mask in perfect condition. you can find both the machete and the mask and cabin 3 ( find all notes and the crystal key 1st..)

oh, and for anyone else reading this,(final spoiler) you can use that machete when you open cabin 3.( it replaces your bat..)

Amazing.

This is undoubtably one of my favorite point and clicks of all time. I think you did a great job with this game in general. The music is outstanding, making the game frightening for the most part and the Jason battles were intense, even though Jason looks stupid and is badly animated. You also did a good job with replayability, putting a sidequest in the game(which I won't spoil). The game looks good, though many point and clicks have done better. My only problem with the game is that it is very short. But overall, this is a great game.
