Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

This game was born from my desire to create a different style of a defense game. I wanted to create a defense game with a story so it had sense the waves of enemies attacking the planet. My influences has been from Star Trek, Red Dwarf, Farscape all mixed with the crazy style of South Park.

This is not a classical defense game, this game demands from the players fast movements from the first levels, it's not a toy to sit and watch, it's a challenging game. You will have to deploy new units, upgrade and repair your units during the battle to protect the 4 cities against the waves of enemies. Use the shortcuts "U" to upgrade and "R" to repair and your trip will be easier. In the FIRST LEVEL you have MONEY ENOUGH to UPGRADE ALL THE UNITS TWO LEVELS TO INCREASE THEIR DESTRUCTION LEVEL. Additional information can be found in the tutorial and in the tips section.

I want to thank the great effort done by the team David Ferriz and Daniel Martin. Thanks to them my longest project (almost 6 months) has seen the light. Also to thank the people from BubbleBox for the support sponsoring the game.

TRICK: In traditional defense games you can't move your deployed units, in this game you can move the installed spaceships during the set up before the wave, just drag and drop it from one place to another to cover better the planet's cities.

Reviews

this is a really good, well developed game, and its a defense game too, so that's saying something; of course im sure you already know how good your game is based on the quality and the little things like pilot control and the great storyline that makes games like this more than just a time killer; i wish there were a few glitches worked out and maybe a way to save progress, if only for the sake of another go at the storyline, but that's mostly just because i suck so i need to retry so many times :) but otherwise, amazing game dude nice job

I was really into it, until...

It was a great game, challenging but doable, but then, after wave 7, I got a game over.

Now, if this had been for my failure, I would have been fine with it, but this game over was for not having 4 cities left, while I actually had 5 cities left. I liked the idea, but I don't feel like taking that time again. Sorry, but I'm gonna have to give this a 5. if you fix the glitches though, I'm sure you could get 9s or even 10s from almost everybody. Good luck in your future games!

Glitch-tacular!!!!

YOU NEED TO REALLY PLAY YOUR GAME BEFORE POSTING!!!!! I couldn't even begin to play cause of this cycle of main screen to intro, to main to intro, and on and on. It's almost as if i had to games going on the same screen at different times. So I'm hoping your on this, Oh and i do have the latest flash. And i know you have posted saying "I have tested for hundreds of hours the game and always without problems" but i think you should really reconsider what people have said about your game.

Wonderful game, until the glitches take over. ;_;

This is an intriguing defense game which brings some new features to the table. The story is a little preachy, with the Federation obviously meant to represent America. The veil is so thin that they start openly referring to Guantanamo in some of the later story segments. It is amusing in places, though, and I liked how Steve isn't depicted as a bad guy, despite remaining loyal to the Federation.

What's intriguing is, despite the anti-imperialist message, all the benefits of capitalism are built into the economic part of the game. The faster you can consolidate your farms into a single New New York, the better off you'll be, because one big city is easier to protect than many small ones. It also gives you more money, which lets you spend more on the military, which further drives your economy, leading to bigger bonuses and more money.

Unfortunately, the entire Earth Mission is full of errors, bugs, and glitches. Every time you place a city, the health bar appears on the other side of the planet. Worse, you can't click on the empty space or on the graphic of the city to access the city repair menu. (Although you can still park your ships in front of the health bar, and they will defend it.) After one level, the health bars reset to the right spot, so you need to move your ships.

Unfortunately, much later in the game, all your ships and cities become invisible, which means you can not repair anymore, and you can't even see what's going on in the battle. There's no reason to play the game after this point; it's a lost cause, and things don't get fixed if you survive a level in this condition.

Other than that, there's a lot of potential here. I like the novel defense-hybrid gameplay, and the tight integration of the story with the game. The voices could have been better, and I think SouthPark's stream-of-consciousness style of humor loses some of its punch when it's text-only. I hope they fix the bugs, because I'd really like to finish playing this game someday.

Thanks for the really worked review.

You are right about the cities. While I was designing the game I tested several formulas. If the player had the chance to put the cities in the places he would like in the world he would have put all the cities in one area, so he would contentrate all the units in one area of the planet. So it will be easier for him to control the attacks of the enemies. The place where are installed the cities is selected randomly, it has been a hard decision, but it has been to try to improve the game challenge.

About what you talk about the ships and cities become invisible, I don't know what you are talking about. The last user review told something similar about this issue. The units has life, when they are destroyed, they disappear, you can't recover them, you must install new units. If there is any bug I had not been able to find it, I have tested for hundreds of hours the game and always without problems. So if you tell me in which level this happens and provide me a video that proves this behaviour I will make all the possible to find the bug and repair it.

great but one serious bug

about halfway through the game my ships usually dissapear and then i can't build more of them. it's quite the annoying bug. otherwise i love this game : )

Thanks for the comment.

Can you see a button that initially shines that says "SEE LIFE"? If you press that button you will see that your ships has life and that life decrease with the impact of enemy's shoots. When the life of the ships reach to 0 they explode. When they explode they disappear.
