After receiving a ton of feedback for the first Ultimate Defense, I have decided to create a sequel. I have listened to all of the comments, and have created a game that has twice the levels, 2 great new characters, twice the enemies, 4x the spells, and mini-games to help you earn more money.

I have increased the difficulty as well, after getting numerous reports that the first one was too easy. I hope this is challenging enough now.

Very Nice Game!

This game is great. Great art, great gameplay, great everything! The only problem is that you can't save the game. If this was fixed, this would be one of my favorite games.

difficulty whacked

the two ways this game could be fixed, the last two spells being removed, they were useless, just add a better damage spell instead and it would be fine, second, make some harder endgame enemies, i was dismayed to see how easily enemies died in the 11th and 12th levels.

just something, when i played there was no real connection between how many tokens i got and how many chests i dug up, sometimes i would get 20 tokens when i dug up maybe 7 chests

fix above stuff game would be good enough, also its not a minigame if there isnt any skill involved

Great game

Great game. Could use more types of defences. When you get the dragon you cannot lose.

sorry, too hard 4 me.

the fact that all your defenders are complete retards and cant shoot at something directly in front of them doesn't help. i found a total of 17 chests in the first two levels and not one time did i win at the slots. i couldn't get past level three because i had already used up all my money trying to pollute the screen with archers or mages(the only thing i could afford) and still wondering why just about every unit gets through. i watched my friend beat the game in one extremely short period of time and yet i crash and burn on the third level. the main thing that bugged me the most was that the units firing path is two squares in one direction leaving no room to attack. other people may enjoy this game and ill probly get flak for giving this a zero but this game is just too hard.

Cumbersome, on solid ground though

Way too many bugs and annoyances to get anything higher than a 7 here. In order of how I encountered the problems.

I begin, and wonder where the enemies will come from, I have no idea, so I grab a guy and set him down, only to realize his range is only two of the three squares. I'm dismayed but see how it could add interest later. I grab the more expensive guy thinking he will have longer range and find he also only has 2 range. No sense right now and I have only one archer guarding the far path. Oh well, hit begin anyway with like 20 seconds left on it.

I remember the shovel and start digging like mad hoping for some goodies. And I also notice the enemies came from the bottom... allright, mental note, enemies from the bottom. I get fancy chests. Oh goody! Money, no ... not money... nothing? Later, a potion... ooh goody goody, haven't used a spell yet.
and right at the end of the level, I buy a ninja. Bad Idea.

In between levels I've racked up 22 tokens, from chests I figured out. Waste about 5 minutes putting them all in to get nothing. Wow.

Next level comes, I got a nice bonus of 300 gold from the last level. On the next level, I realize I'm out 750 money, so I strategize: Enemies coming from the bottom, if I put an archer on the corner, I can rotate him so he shoots the enemies TWICE. Enemies now come from the top?! All's going well, and I hit rotate to get my archer working for his kills and my guy ends up facing straight away from the path, aiming at nothing and not shooting. I scramble to rotate again, only now he's stuck that way. My other mage and archer won't hold, I'll have to sell... how do I do that? No money, nothing killed, I die on level 2. RESTART.

Ok Now I've figured some things out. Let's go. Mage and archers go and defend, first level easy. Onward. More tokens for no reward, expected. Now I've got money for a ninja. Never seen one in action, but he has good range. I'll stick to my safe dual mage/archer combo that worked before. Level 2 passed easily.

Ok, got the hang of the game now. Wait level 3? All the enemies came in a single stack and my poor guys were no match for their sheer numbers. I got utterly destroyed.
RESTART

Well... How do I beat level 3? (read other reviews here) Ok, just a bug, retry. Level 3 works better, less of a clump and I ward it away with a ton of potions and burning up a lot of my money. Super cool. 3 Levels later - Level 4! Of course, I had to try out the warrior. Ok, one space attack, understandable, but utterly useless... Sell him... oh wait... buy more ninjas to help him out. Ninjas are the key. I'm writing this as I use up my 28 spins... Won 100 one time... Not worth it, I would not bother with the chests. Ok, back to my game...
