[4/25/09] - No way!! Front Page!?! I'm still in shock! Thank you so much!

The sequel is out! Watch it here:

Man am I LAZY! It's been almost a year since I submitted anything! Well, here it is!
This movie is done in a similar style to my first video: "Crossing the Pit". This time, the guy tries to break into a bank.

NOTE! DO NOT CLICK THE DISGUISE until the end. It leads to the credits.

If you leave a review, please also tell me which part was your favorite--I always like to know. Additionally, if you have any suggestions on improvement, those would also be appreciated.

EDIT: Daily 5th! My first award! Awesome!

7 years after of see this movie i see again and it's average, has not aged well, animation is fine but not the big thing, fails are somewhat predictable but others if you see it for the first time if they would be unpredictable and very funny.
The sequels greatly improved these problems

PuffballsUnited responds:

I agree wholeheartedly

Why is this a movie instead of a flash?

Press SWF on the left.

I don't know if you still read these, but other than major websites like Kongregate and Newgrounds, and a few others, I believe someone has stolen your work (this one) and posted it on Facebook. It doesn't have as much views as this one, but you should look into it.

PuffballsUnited responds:

Yeah I've heard. There's not really much to do about it.. It happens to everyone. As long as they're not talking for me.

I always liked the fact that you were overly-honest and uploaded this in the movies section altough it is an interactive movie, classifiable as game. It was probably due to the fact that there is not "game-like gameplay" like your following games (click to dodge bullets, quick-time events etc.).
This is a simple movie featuring for the most part classic Wile E. Coyotesque gags. It is true that some are predictable but knowing that there is only one "successful" choice one cannot expect that, for example, the explosion alternative would not end up like that. I liked most the lazer drill because for less than a moment i believed i won; the TNT because the odd delayed timing explosion when the protagonist is about to check the dynamite is a great comical timing, it explodes just at the right moment! Finally, the wrecking ball with that alternation between the two scenes type is very comically climatic. Overall this is a simple movie with simple humor, one thing that was very unusual when it was published and so it is now if not more unusual, good job then. Perhaps you are surprised if someone prefers your older stuff to the new improved big games and maybe you are right but i hope by saying this that you don't mean your older creations are bad because they are not, neither this means your new ones do not deserve compliments for their improvements; there is just a good "progression feeling" in content quality and quantity in your series, a thing that is very good.

Final Notes

-The movie itself, simple and fun to watch
-The american desert background, that gives a suggestive and evoking feeling to the story. This isolated position for a bank makes me speculate it is a very important bank, perhaps a federal deposit of cash or something?
-The fact that in the credits there are images of what happens afters the fails, it donates to the movie a unique feeling of consecutive story as the fails are all part of the story and not only fails that once you restart disappears from the story. It is something that can not have been done in future installements but only here for the motive that it has a small amount of fails; so this episode has an undeniable quality over the others.

Nothing, because I do not review a game for what it has not but only for what is there to enjoy.

I am happy I played this long time ago so I could review it appropriately, because the mood here is sad as it never have been. I do not know if you guys knew him or heard the news about but famous actor Bud Spencer passed away this Monday. It is very sad news, his movies with Terence Hill were as entertaining as this series, only in a very different way.

Thanks for the kind words! I admire your attitude towards reviews. And yeah I get a lot of heat from having this in the movie category..
