In fact, this is nothing new or REALLY interesting, but the most ego-shooters or apps are'nt as well.
And as well they're as addicting as your game is.
But It'd be cool if there were som special items, tiles, walls and abilities you can collect, if u know what I mean. ;)

My fourth submission to newgrounds.
Yet another game only this one is one of those never ending ones... :D
You control a red square with the arrow keys and must avoid all the obstacles. Includes a highscore table and 4 levels of increasing difficulty, and then the turbo last level at the end, that never ends!

Personally, I never look into the fun of the game unless it is flat out BORING. This game isn't boring at all! It was a nice fun game to play for a little while. When reviewing a game, I usually pay attention to the graphics and sound quality. I also look upon the originality of the game. overall, I have to say you did great in all two of these categories. The graphics were nice and simple. The gameplay was nice and simple. But it wasn't very original. What you could do to build upon this idea is making levels with scenary effects and dodging ships that shoot at you. You could also apply a bullet effect to cube to make it fire lasers at targets for extra points. I also recommend adding a blur effect to the back of the cube, or animate tiny white circles coming out from it. You can make a second one in like a week. If you need help with the actionscripting, try looking turtorials up on google. Like "Bullet actionscripting"
Want to make the cube look 400% cooler?
Do this:
Open up the file and click the cube movie clip. Go to WINDOW -> PROPERTIES. A window that says Properties should pop up. Click the filter tab, right next to the properties tab. Click the little blue plus sign. Then click GLOW and make the outside glow color blue.
This will get you a much higher score. TRY IT MAN!
Also try experimenting with the other effects like blur. Good job so far, keep up the good work.

Either you love it or you hat it. Personally, it's not something I would play again voluntarily. The concept of the game was sound, though. However, there was no reall challenge to it.
flawed
The walls should make you move down, not kill you. Unless the main character is a rocket, which it is not.
Also, this is very unoriginal.
