Solid theory, but fails in execution.
It's a nice picture, but I think you made a few mistakes with the game itself. There's a difference between having to really search for things and them being nearly invisible against the backdrop. But the part about this being essentially an advert to some broken link is just insulting. If it had a touch of color and an actual ending it would be promising.
