I wanted to try out some drawn flash. I can draw a decent Sonic. But when drawing with the mouse its kind of hard. This is nothing fancy. Basicly just a test for me to try out drawing in flash and frame-by-frame animating. So don't expect anything amazing.

Okay

It would have been better if it had plot, better animation, And you made a few Sceans too long. But other than that cool ^ ^

saiyankid109 responds:

it wasnt intended to have a plot. it was just a test. I tried my best on the character drawings. i could have used some background though.

Nice.

Even if this isn't your first flash I think you did a pretty good job. A suggestion if I may, when he's running it is useful to have something moving past him in the background to actually give a sense of movement, otherwise it looks like he's running in place (and awkwardly at that). I hope you continue to refine your skills (getting used to drawing with a mouse) and keep 'em coming.

saiyankid109 responds:

thanks. If this somehow get blammed. I will try to make it better and re-submit. I was going to put some stuff on the ground when sonic is moving and dash lines. but i forgot! d'oh!

Not too bad...

Art was decent, and music seemed to flow.
Two things that stuck out were that it was plainly done, with no backround or extra sounds; and that each animation seemed to tak e too long to get to the next. Since it was a test it's no big deal, but just try to add some backgrounds to your flashes next time to make it a little more appealing. Also, if you could add animations between the fames it would look better.

Thanks for the advice. I dragged out the frames so I could see my drawings and see where i needed to improve. Your right. When i finished. I realized i needed backgrounds. Next time!
