This was the first Flash game I had the nerve to show somebody. CMG bought it off me for a nominal fee. I didn't dare release it on NG back then because I felt like it wasn't good enough. Ironically, most of the stuff I've released since then has been much worse, so when I found the old swf tonight, I decided to just submit it. I figure it's probably worth at least a green score.

As the title suggests, gameplay is extremely linear. You'll pretty much fight the same squadrons of ships on ten different planets. Your ship has a standard pea-shooter weapon, a life bar, and some extra lives. Each planet has a boss which I think is the best part of the game. The game's content is generated procedurally, and the game loops forever with some slight increases in enemy firepower.

Unfortunately, there are no powerups, no plot, no story, no ending, and very minimal music. Hopefully you'll have a little fun with it anyway. I think for such a linear game, it's as polished as I could make it.

Boss battles are really annoying cuz they are too tough to kill
I like the graphics anyway.

Cool

Even when it was your first flash,I liked it! The others are just a bunch of low fans of liking games and they are a bunch of non-shootergame likers. You'll do better on you second shootin' game, right?

I would of given you an overperfect score only if you did UPgrades.Nice job!

lost interest

I like the concept of the game, but the first boss took too long to beat. The fact that there are no upgrades killed the game for me.

Well...

I liked the graphic, but it came boring quickly. I'd give you 6 stars instead of three, if there was a way to turn of that annoying 5 second music loop.

Too Repetitive

This is fun for about ten minutes, and then you start to think, "is there any point to this?" Each level is the same, basically, with the same enemies, except with a different scrolling background and boss at the end. The bosses take waaay too many hits to die, and have really predictable firing patterns.

This is what Konami's "Raiden" would be if instead of being the most fun arcade upscrolling shooter ever, it had been forced to simplify itself into level after level of the same thing over and over.

It's a nice concept, but it needs work to improve playability.
