The sequel to this game, Anaksha Dark Angel, has just been released. You can find it at:

The preloader is not functioning correctly (yeah I'm new at Flash!) If you have a slow connection you'll need to be patient because won't see anything until its loaded around 50% of the swf.

If you want to continue reading then you may do so, otherwise feel free to turn down the lights, turn up the volume and enjoy Anaksha: Female Assassin! :)

...Oh and be sure to leave a comment letting me know what you thought.

18 Nov 2008 - v1.02. I've finally sorted out the music license issues and Anaksha has finally been given a worldwide release, which means its no longer restricted to NG. If you own a games portal and you want to host/spread the game, then PM me for a copy. Thanks for all your support over the past few months regarding this issue. It was nice to see so many people looking out for me, and sending me reports of sites which had stolen it. Thank you all! :)

08 Aug 2008 - Anaksha has made the top 50 Best Of All Time list! Thank you all for your support! :)

06 Aug 2008 - 1st Place Daily Feature Award + Front Page = AWESOME! :) Thanks everyone for making Anaksha a success!

05 Aug 2008 - v1.01. Have corrected the animation of the sniper bullet exiting the barrel (whoops! LOL). I've also corrected a few spelling mistakes.

01 Aug 2008 - v1.0 - Anaksha Female Assassin is a cinematic, flash-based, shooter set within the rainswept world of crime noir. Follow the story of this beautiful but deadly femme-fatale who embarks on a brutal, bloody-thirsty rampage through the city of Santa Lina, delivering her own brand of justice to social parasites who've avoided punishment. Murderers, rapists, spouse abusers, human traffickers - none can escape their fate when even the police fear the angel of death watching their every move...

After 8 months of illustrating, programming, story/script writing and animating - its finally complete!

Please note this game is SERIOUSLY violent - I mean it! You won't believe how violent this game gets until you reach the later levels. There's also quite a high level of sleaze and textual references to sex, drugs and tobacco (hey it IS crime-noir after all!). Don't say you weren't warned!

All male targets, same clothes, no-brainer story - it can all be explained. Go to the main website and read the FAQ ( )

One Liners.

I'll get the obvious out of they way first:

-Nice Art: Very akin to Sin City as others have said
-Nice Gameplay: Everything good about sniper games combined superbly

Now for everything else:
1.Dialogue: Horrendous! There were more one liners in this game than a bad B-Movie.I cringed everytime I had to see those cheesy lines. In addition, for a vigilante bent on revenge for her fallen friend and whatnot the one liners, joking, etc. felt so out of place.

2."Cutscenes": Were very, very boring. While the artwork that is there is outstanding, sadly, there are only 2 or 3 "panels" that you acutally use and keep switching between the 2 of them making it incerdibly boring to watch and read.Variety would have definitely helped.

3.Ana's Victims:Have no chance for redemption? Their crimes were horrendous, brutal, and perhaps they don't deserve a second chance, but just going straight to killing them?Which brings me to my next point...

4:Characters:Were all very one dimensional. Sure Ana had conflicts with whether or not all the killing would make her like one of the people she was killing, but her thoughts about this seemed so abrupt and unimportant instead of an on going internal struggle that she would deal with. Same with the Uncle(?) who instead of actually thinking it over and consoling Ana or something went straight to just "Lets kill those fuckers!" like a friend that doesn't think about anything they do and just go ahead and do it.

5."D":Where exactly does she get all this information? If I remember correctly, she gets all of her information from the police database and places like that, but she seems to know everything about Ana's targets even stuff not on the police database. She also has "surveillence" on them, but without something indicating how much time has passed between targets it appears as if she gets them day after day. How does D come up with all this information so fast? D also seems as if she has no moral dilemmas about assisting in killing. In addition the way you portray D and Ana you make them just seem like 2 crazy feminists.I know they aren't, but that's how they come off.

6.Story:Feels very generic and uninspired. However, above average compared to other things that come to this site. Characters seem very unrealistic from Ana to Vincent to all the seemingly morally corrupt individuals in the city.

7.Police Chief:Why would you drop a manhunt on this person that you labeled as a "dangerous vigilante" before? Sure Ana may have killed a bunch of the criminals in the city, but the fact is that you don't know who they are and as far as the police knows the people Ana are killing haven't done anything bad. Why would he drop it especially after he bashes Ana so much? Flip flopper in my opinion, which would seem very unlikely in the real world. This also seems to set be able to set up a smaller plot that would be something like The Boondock Saints, but you don't pursue anything like that in the story.

8.In Game Art:I wish that you would have followed the comic style that you did in the cutscenes because that worked out beautfully with only blacks and whites, but in the game it seems like it's a total departure from it and I think if you just highlighted certain colors instead of coloring the whole thing it would have worked better with the style you chose. The Headshot indicator screen was the most distracting with the neon green.

9.General Polish: I did read in your FAQ that you would have rather got it out sooner than later, but you don't have a studio pushing you to get this game out earlier so why didn't you take the time to polish the game more? Add more victims instead of just women, different clothing, better story, etc. To me this is mindboggling because you came so far with the rest of it, but seemed to just give up on it. Polish would have helped this game a great deal.

As a plain shooter this game is superb, but all the other little things really take you out of it. I hope to see some work from you later on because you arepromising.

For now though please, please get a writer.
